149.00 price sounds fair for a new one, I dont know what brand my 57 chevy gas car is but im going to look when I get home after work!

If I remember right, they were sold for $15.00 new in the late 60's when gas was 25 cents a gallon. Gas is now all over the road but $3.50 is probably a logical price. ?? That's 14 times the price in the late 60's and at $150.00, that's only 10 times the 60's price. Sounds logical to me as I remember they were to rich for my $$ back in high school. Money made from cadding went into the full size tank and drive in movies!

Yeah my brother had the baja bug, back then we would run these things all day,,Oh well i guess $150 is a fair price.I cant wait to get my hands on one.I guess its coming with the launcher,parachute and tether line drag strip all in one box.I saw on ebay the other day a mint cond eliminator sling shot dragster,and the box was even in mint cond,had all the accessories still in the plastic,and the car had never had fuel in it....buy now price was $489.00!!!! WOW

Have another small update on the gas funny cars from AutoWorld,been pushed back to April of next year for sure,and the vega funny car will come in two different colors,Red and Blue. just thought people would like to know.
