In the past, I have offered the Flaming Shark brand unique limited edition butylstyrene vacuum formed slot car drag bodies and Silicone Rubber Controller grips under the RJM Racing H.O. Customs logo/banner. They were well received in the H.O. drag racing community. Much of that business was from the then fledgling H.O. drag racing community. That venture folded out of bordom and my moving from Pennsylvania to Michigan some 3.5 yrs. ago.
Since that time, I have become acquainted with an engineer/tribologist who , in working with me, has developed a unique lubricant specifically designed for H.O. drag racers.
It is... Spartan Synthetic Drag Oil.
Spartan Synthetic Drag Oil is a fully synthetic oil specially developed for slot cars. It molecularly bonds to metal and remains resident for longer periods, so that it keeps lubricating where other lubricants have gummed up. dispersed or dissipated.
Spartan Synthetic withstands temperatures in excess of 600 degrees.
One drop of Spartan Synthetic will withstand up to 80,000 lbs of pressure.
One bottle of Spartan Synthetic provides 1300 drops of outstanding lubrication.
Lubricity/slickness and wear reduction is statistically significant with Spartan Synthetic as compared to other slot car and model train oils.
Spartan Synthetic will not harm or adversely affect phenolic, polycarbonate or nylon resins and plastics.
