Here are some pics that I took on Friday night at qualifying. Go Ashley, GO! (BTW- this message and picture is approved by Ashley Force...) The Sarge & Doug Kalitta after their burnouts... The Sarge layed down a 3.94 at over 307 mph. A video of Antron Brown being the first to lay down a sub 4 second run at Bandimere. It was pretty awesome! 2 or 3 others did so sub 4 second runs after that run of his.

Thanks for the pictures and for letting us be some of the first ones to watch a T/F car make a 1000' pass. Looked like a blast!

Ashley's second run of the night. Love the flames!!! (I think that is one of the Tasca Mustangs in the Pepsi Lane).

A Pro-Stock bike video - the sound of those motor winding through the gears is so darn cool. I happen to like hearing the Suzuki's better than the Buell's - sounds like a Pod Racer from Star Wars.

Tommy Johnson Jr. & Cruz Pedregon after their burnouts. After qualifying was over we were walking out and Tommy Johnson Jr. was just standing by his pit area and we walked over and got his autograph. Super nice guy.

Looks like this is Jerry Toliver in the left lane & I can't tell who is in the right lane. My videoing pretty much stinks as I'm getting jostled around by folks around me as the cars go by - sorry for the shaky videos... I can't even tell who these cars are...

John, I think that you are right...it seems weird at first but it would still be fun to watch in person whether they are running 1000' or 1320'. Heck, I watched exhibition passes of Scotty Palmer's Top Fuel digger shutting off at the 1/8 mile and it was still impressive to see, espcially when standing right beside the track.
