Hi Richard, The actual race in July will be a bracket and a heads up on the same day. The bracket race will be ran first . The #19 qualifier won the Gasser Nationals so it's not always the fastest car that wins. A little luck from the drivers cutting good r/t's can take a slower guy a long way. I think this field will not be as spread out as the Gasser's were, which should make for some great racing.
Kdog, any chance of live coverage for the Nationals?

Tim and I are planning on posting same day results as close to live as possable. We kind of passed on the video idea opting for some creative photos instead. It should be very cool.

SUPER STOCK RACERS....TEST & TUNE RESULTS NOW !
First a little rundown on how we did it. We warmed up each car per owners instructions, or 15 seconds. Some folkes asked for 30 seconds, we complyed but it seemed long to us. Each car ran 3 times on each lane. If it was apperent there was a problem, we took a few moments to see if we could tweek it. All the stats are on index cards to be shipped back with your cars. I will list the best time by everyone. Also on the back of the cards is possable fixes. Just a general note about the type of problems we found. #1 was pickups many folks would have been better served with stock pickups as opposed to ones bent in odd ways we adjusted as many of these as we could. #2 was front tires interacting with the pickups, if there was side to side play the wheels at times were rubbing the pickups, many needed axel spacers to hold the RRR wheels away from the pickups. #3 was over lubing the bottom bearing, quite a few smelled of burning oil, just a touch and a quick wipe usally does it there. We didn't feel taking all these apart was something we felt comfortable doing.
Now the resualts listed fastest first. DRUM ROLL PLEASE !
The fastest test was: #3 chima et= 1.228 mph = 7.84
#43 Tjetcar et = 1.247 mph = 7.84
#1 skr et = 1.294 mph = 7.03
#11 Jet et = 1.307 mph = 7.49
#50 440gtx et = 1.317 mph = 7.25
#36 Walt Pierce et = 1.394 mph = 5.83
#8 nightrider et = 1.514 mph = 5.78
#45 Nightrider et = 1.517 mph = 5.59
#39 randtek et = 1.721 mph = 4.87
#55 440gtx this was the bone stock giveaway car et 1.918 mph = 3.94
#9 Allstar et = 2.032 mph = 4.21
#57 Frantic Frank et = 1.920 mph = 4.11 switch those last 2 OOPS
#54 bounty hunted jr et = 2.255 mph = 3.19
#47 Tiger Tom et = 2.269 mph = 3.61
#13 Scottman et = 2.285 mph = 3.51
#48 Rapid Richard et = 2.344 mph = 3.25
#30 bondoman2k et = 2.490 mph = 3.25
#10 Alstar et = 2.459 mph = 3.10
#31 bondoman2k et = 2.763 mph = 2.62
#46 Bounty Hunter Bill et = 2.928 mph = 2.63
#29 hochallanged et = 3.031 mph = 2.59
That was the T & T tests many of these cars had a few things to address but most could improve their times a bunch. Like i said we didn't take them appart or take a dremil to any bodys, we thought that better left to the car owners. Dog

I'm pleased with knowing my car had the 9th fastest time in TnT. I can't ask for better as a rookie! I want to thank WaltGPierce and Jet for providing me with a chassis and parts to build a competitive car from the start. This has definitely peaked my interest in this "sport". Thanks also to the people hosting this event. I'm sure its a lot of work, but I'd bet it's pretty fun to do too!

Talk about getting the drivers stoked, we ran the cars in the sign up order, so Kim & Sam were the first 2 to the line. Sams T Bolt launched very good each run, with Kim's Goat eating up track fast. the finnishes couldn't have been any closer, they traded wins back and forth till finally on the last run the GTO slid by for the win and it's best finnish. that set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. Tim is going to e mail a few photos to me I hope to get up later. Dog

Nice job Kevin, Tim and the guys behind the scenes. I'm sure Kim's NOS bottle is about empty. I'll have to get a refill before sending it back Great tips about the front wheel spacers. I know our cars need them. I also like the ideal of the index cards with the times and helpful tips on the back. Again great job guys!

Ragu I don't see your result. IS it still running? No maple syrup this time and a 3 stage NOS is sufficient.
