This was my first car. Dad bought me this GTX back in 85. I was 16 and had my license about 2 months. When we took it out for a test drive, Dad ran it up over 150 and said "I think this will do!" We gave $1200 for it.
We had some body work done and had it repainted that summer.
This is a pic of it in race trim. It would run high 11's at about 118 mph.
This is the cars current condition. We are in the middle of a total rebuild.
