OK RACERS LISTEN UP....... The DOG is so excited about the Fall Nationals that I am building a supercool RAT ROD as a giveaway ! It will be a new custom Willys body, I will pull out all the stops on this Custom, the winner is getting my best custom Willys to date. I want to share the build up with you. You will see in the photos the before and after as the body work gets started. I know what your saying.....DOG how can you show the orignal and custom on the same photo. Kids I call it the "THE MAGIC OF PHOTOGRAPHY". Anyway..... You will see I have chopped the top by 33%, smoothed all the casting/body lines, removed the head & tail lights, and the grill. The body has been slammed as low as a Willys can get on a T Jet chassis. Everything ready for the next steps.... tune in next week as the BAD DOG build up continues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAD DOG BUILDUP II.... I have added the 2 holes in the hood for the Duel Quad set up I'm using for this custom. The body has been primed (or is that the final paint job), you can see the clear red headlights, and bullet shaped clear red tail lights. Now it's down to the doghouse to dig up some ratty decals. Remember I'm having Sam give this finnished custom to one of the racers entered in Octobers, Rat Rod, FC, & Pro Mod race. Get your entrys in now!

OK RACERS THE TIME HAS COME.... THE BAD DOG RAT ROD IS READY !!!!!! I started with a stock Model Motoring 41 Willys, I chopped the top, smoothed all the seam lines, removed the head & tail lights, plus the grill. The body was than treated to a smooth KDOG paint job, with some descrete decals. I added clear red head lights, and bullet shaped rear lights. The grill is aluminum mesh, and the duel quad stacks are hand formed aluminum as well. The body was lowered as low as a Willys will sit on a T Jet. The chassis is a new Auto World stock chassis, with a custom set of full moon wheels, (don't ask me where you can get these as the guy is no longer selling on ebay). Anyway the detals on winning this special Rat Rod will be posted soon. I am modifying this post. As I made the headlights for the car the passengers side headlight had a stress fracture in it I didn't see this untill I looked at the photos on Photo Bucket. IT LOOKS LIKE A CAT EYE ! This was not planned, but makes this car even more of a collectable Rod.
