Thanks to 440GTX, Rapid Richard, Demon340 & Thunderwreck for letting me pass this info on to you guys. As you can see here there are 4 different set ups.

Correct me if I'm wrong on the parts.

440GTX'S Funny Car
Fall Nat's Champion

Auto World Chassis
Total car weight: 25 grams
Rear tires: .470" silicone foam
Mean Green Armature: American Line Ohms @ 6.4
Motor brushes: JB?

Notes:
Passenger traction magnet is shimmed to match drivers side height. Brush tension increased, chassis shunted. Radio shack rare earth traction magnets. A/W motor magnets.

What is everyone using for shunt wire? can it be bought at radio shack, or do I have to order it online?

No arguing with winning. I see I have to shim all my traction magnets. Thanks for the info guys.
Luck Bobs sells shunt wire in 18'' pieces. I don't know about Radio Shake. It would be nice to buy a big roll of it.

Are you talking about the original super 2 motor magnets? AutoWorld/ Johnny lightning motor magnets are stronger. I think that is why most guys prefer using them.

Yes, thats the ones. Just looked at my gauss chart I know some are more some are less it say super 2s are 1800 and A/W are 1800 I did think the super 2 were more. The A/W are alot easer the get . I have to get a gauss meter. I seen one for $50 somewhere.

The dark blue and white aw mags are a little stronger.

I like that idea but I'll leave it up to the car owners.

A big part of why we started these mail in races was to help everyone out. You guys allowing the rest to see what's inside is going to be a big help.

I have photos of the Rat winners as well that I'll post on the forum soon.
