Nice, I hope you like your as much as I like mine. Have you decided on a timing setup yet? What voltage are you planning to run?

440 Im working on building a timing system that has beams that go across the lanes to pick up the cars like big car tracks do. The program Im going to use is from the web site beachrace.home.att.net . It has a on screen tree that Im going to put on a flat screen tv over the track patched to my laptop computer. I will keep you all posted on this timing system when it get done. I hope it works because I dont want to drill holes thru the track if I dont have to. SWAMPER

440 I forgot to answer about the power for track. I have a deep cycle marine 12 volt battery.

I'm getting closer to finishing my ho drag track. My timing system is on the way and hope to have some racing in a few weeks. If any body is interested in coming to race or just watch please e-mail me with your name and phone #. This is a privet track with a invitation only. I live in Sarasota Fl.

Nice looking track! ;D ;D Be sure and let us know on that timing system. If it works ok, it sounds like something that would work great for my 1/8 mile I'm building! (IF I ever get it finished!! LOL) Ron

;D ;D ;D They are there. They are not over the track shining down like the ones you see normally. I think this looks more like a tru drag strip. It took a lot of thinking, trying and bud lights to figure it out but it works . swamper
