I read on the web site that the track has Dynamic braking. Is that included or extra. Also, what is that exactly.

I read on the web site that the track has Dynamic braking. Is that included or extra. Also, what is that exactly. Dynamic Braking occurs when the rails in the shutdown area are connected to each other. This locks up the armatures and thus slows the car down. The hotter the motor the more effective this is, but they are also typically (except when Sam builds the motor) faster and need the braking.
This is a passive system and is included with all SlotCarsInc.com dragstrips. It's also something that is very easy to disable should you not want it in effect.
Just kidding Sam...I hear your the FASTEST ...from Chima that is!

YO Grumpy If I get this right I put the insulating conectors before the last track. Than just conect both rails of each lane on the very end of the track with the supplyed jumpers. DOG
I also want to add, for anyone thinking about one of these tracks the DOG gives it.... 4 PAWS UP !!!!

DOG I also want to add, for anyone thinking about one of these tracks the DOG gives it.... 4 PAWS UP !!!! Kdog. Thanks for the complimets and the awesome cars! I'm sure I'll be buying more! Now I just need some pictures of your cars running on that SlotCarsInc track! The insulators go at your finishline. If you're using the suggested length for a 1/4 mile that will be at the beginning of the last section. If you got the white insulator one trick is to color them with paint or a sharpie. That will make your finish line pop out a little bit. The you slide the gray jumpers in the keyways at the end of the track. That's what creates the Dynamic Breaking. Then if for some reason you want to turn it off all you have to do is pull one of the magnets out. If you check out the www.SlotCarsInc.com website they have a lot of assembly pictures on the support page.
