I just wanted to say hello and WOW! I cant believe what I'm seeing here that you guys/gals are building, it's amazing. A little about me, I havent been involved in HOs for 35 years and I am just getting back into it. I havent even gotten the track I ordered yet. That's how I came here searching to see whats new in the hobby. When I started seeing the cars being built here it took me back what I used to see at the track and on TV. I am building a 73 340 Pro Street Duster, about halfway through that. I am really interested in the HO drags that I see here, I have been reading for a week now and I am maybe halfway through everything. sorry I didnt mean to get long winded so Hello!

Welcome to the forum Dusted! Sounds like you dove back in to the hobby head first!. It's always good to hear about another track going up. Not sure if you've checked them out yet but the Mead bros. who do resin bodies have a Duster body. I thing it's TM427 who has the Dusters. You can find their links at the bottom of our home page. My Dad and I bracket raced a 70 Duster from '87 to '92. We ran super pro.

Sam I have done some RC racing but the problem is that it isnt near by so when I started thinking about getting back into it I remembered how much I enjoyed HOs and that I could do at home and here I am LOL. I only found about 20 bodies I want to buy from the Mead sites, very nice stuff, it brings me back to my teens. I remember watching a lot of those cars as Im sure everyone here has. |

BTW nightrider when i said i was 2 hrs away, you said Rochester I thought Buffalo, old age I guess LOL I am only about 1 hr from Rochester. |
