Thanks guy's!
Thanks for the inquiry Mike. I was hoping to allow enough time for ecbill and/or pete (or any other 'new' Racemasters, but they had voiced a possibility of hosting). I didn't want to ace either one of them out of a choice. I will announce December 15th my intentions. I am leaning toward Jan. 28 thru 31, t-jet gasser, 4-gear SS and List racing.
Mike, this is only tentative and NOT carved in stone!
Thanks for understanding!
It’ll be later in the year before I could possibly host one. Not making as much progress as I had expected.

Bill I laughed at the, "Index racing is the only use I found for super 3s". I cannot say what I would have tried in that class. Keeping it a guessing game made for a fun race, but some of you figured it out pretty well, with a bunch of runs in the 1.0 range and the final really getting it right on. After trying a bunch of different cars that one Super III was real close to 1.0 and fairly consistent. A Lifelike car was close too. Rear tires were slipping a lot, which would probably make consistency difficult. The other Super III Mustang was faster and had to be detuned to get it above 1.0. Somehow it managed to have one fast run during qualifying.

Here are the prizes for the racers. Thanks to all our racer/sponsors for donating all these gifts. If you see something you like ask, first come first served. Now the third photo was a gift to me from Mike. The gift is extremely crazy so I can't give it out as a prize. I will get even with Mike as I will train him to attack (Mike only) as he gets older. Fall Nationals prizes 2
Fall Nationals prizes 1
Mikes prize for me
Maybe you could teach the new track mascot to go after Mike’s cars just before they cross the finish line. Only if he’s in the lead of course.

Dave’s Beretta made a cameo appearance and I’d vote for it, if it wasn’t a shelf queen.
I'll throw in with Al and go with Pondiless’ Vette. An AP Vette with flames, can’t resist.

Looks like the right lane is the place to be! The 55 desloted on the movie. Sounds like John Milner's coupe desloted at Smokey Mountain. Good close racing.

Both of mine are AW Super III chassis'. The yellow/orangish Boss Mustang was TQ last index race but broke out in eliminations. Detuned it a little. Blue Mustang was consistently slower. Wondering where it found enough speed to break 1.0 in qualifying?
Index racing is the only use I've found so far for Super IIIs. They sound great on paper but are turkeys on the track.

Good Day Drag Mates Found myself having another bad day, My Wife Cindy said around 10:30 Why don't you lay down, So i did and around 11.45 I woke up in thought, About how this last year has been kinda a mericle for me And how I should not even be Vertical (Endbell) as AL Pink would say. Then i said to myself 🤔 mmm All my life I've fallen short of being a good person in many ways. Then around June of 2019 I believe by fate, I was introduced to Dave, I had already made as much peace as I could with the Unseen Creator, and was ready as Al Pinks say to be Horizontal (Endbell) and go to my dirt nap. But my life change , I noticed Attributes in Dave of kindness and Peacefulness That I've never exspranced in my life, And that only Heard about when my Mom would read us the Bible, Dave has encouraged me every week since in many ways. Bringing me into a bond with others in Nitro Slot, That are Very Kind and consistent. I have exsprenced this Goodness from all I have made contact with, "My Drag Mates" 🤔 mmmmm I found myself thinking About Thanksgiving And said a little prayer by way of the bible my Mom used to read me saying Thank you Jesus for these wonderful Friends that you have placed in my path on 🌎 Earth before I pass on. Love you All finistauri Thanks for sharing! It was very inspirational and appropriate for this Holiday. Glad you’re still vertical and happy that you joined Nitro Slots!

Happy Thanksgiving! We do have much to be thankful for!
Feed your crew lots of turkey. Maybe it’ll slow their reflexes.

Now that Jeff has awoken the 4gear spirit in me, I was looking at how nice a couple tyco wide pan bodies fit on a 4g chassie. The 57 chevy is under construction. The roof was busted off so it got a chop. You gonna chop the Ford too!

Yes they are legal in SS. See my message on a stock class for my next race which would not allow any of those chassis but would be OK for SS. The Viper and BSRT motor magnets are of course whatever you install in them but the DRs are supposed to be poly. They check like ceramic however. The optional DR GT chassis has better magnets that check in the Polymer range. This is that gray area where we have a chassis that has weak poly motor magnets but the rules for Stock, Super Stock, and Comp all specify ceramic grade. Not everyone has the means to properly or accurately check magnet strength....not to mention while they are still in the chassis. We have to draw the line somewhere and it starts with the Stock Inline class. The DR1 GT would not be allowed in anything but Super Comp according to the rules. It is unfortunate but that's how it is. Allowing the Stock DR1 in Super Stock on paper isn't allowed but BSRT, Viper, etc are using molded magnets anyway which is poly magnet dust glued together I believe. People always get their feelings hurt when we start talking about this kind of stuff because "it's not fair". But it is a gray area that falls on these types of chassis. There has always been an argument about SG+ being allowed in Stock and Super Stock because of the tweaked brushes and timing adjustment. But once again it's a gray area. It would be very difficult to ban the SG+ platform because they are so popular and inexpensive compared to other chassis. So to clarify as Dave said the DR1 would be allowed in Super Stock but the DR1 GT would only be allowed in Super Comp as per NTRA rules. Looking forward to the new rules package. Pure stock sounds like a good idea. Thinking I may focus my inline efforts In the pure stock, stock and super stock classes.

SC gang is loaded up and on the way to Smoky Mountain.
Only one Pro Mod will make the trip, it may have the potential for another fireball story but nowhere near 100 mph.

My thoughts on stock are out of the box production cars such as Tyco, Tomy, AFX, Auto World and any other high volume brands with stock gearing etc. DR1 would not be considered high volume, but those would be fine for super stock. No braid or any type of mods. Only change would be tires as that would be impossible to police. I thought Bills winning stock car was an original G+ with no traction magnets and it did run amazingly well but I am not 100% sure of that. So, Super G+ & Mega G would fall under the Tomy/AFX umbrellas? Will post some pics of the old Z later for clarification on its originality.
