The body is the AFX Daytona with all the body mounts dremeled out and then I glued in place some posts so that you can mount a t-jet chassis underneath it. I just tossed that chassis underneath it for the pic. The chassis happens to be a JL chassis with some 4 gear rear tires on it. It doesn't run at the moment. I got the body to that point but haven't figured what paint job to give it yet. Sooner or later it will dawn on me what to paint it up like. I've got lots of these bodies in one state of decay or another so I'll re-build up one for the Pro-Mod event with huge wing and blower.

Great looking cars guys! Here are the only 2 P/M's I have right now. I'm working on a 65 (?) Chevelle Mead body that I think will look really cool.

Here's the Chevelle. It's one of Tmeads bodies that fit an X-Traction. This body is wide which looks nice with the tires tucked underneath the rear wells when mounted to a tjet.

That avatar can easily be made into decals for HO scale dragsters. It would just require sizing them down to fit a variety of H.O. scale bodies. However, I am not sure if you could still read the "Thunder Rods" or "Drag Racing" portions of the logo when it is sized down to fit H.O. bodies.
If I can find time in the next week or so, I'll try to get some H.O. scale decals of the NTRA logo printed out to see how it looks. I think it would all be legible if it were sized to fit on the side of the rear spoiler of some of the modern Funny Car bodies.

Tony, I have plans for a wide body 66 Nova to slam to make pro mods for the TJET chassis. The pro mod 66 Nova body will be wider than the 66 Nova I have already done for the TJET chassis.
Narrowing the first Nova body down was a trick and took a lot of elbow grease, doing the body work after it was narrowed. I just have a bunch of in progress stuff to finish before I add another one to the list by starting the wide body 66 Nova pro mod. ;D

Gary - you can save a couple of those Nova's for me! Those will look cool as a pro-mod body!

NOW ya tell me Gary! LOL I just finished chopping the top and puttin a wing on that '66 Nova gasser body I got from ya last week. I agree, the wider body would look MUCH better since it will cover the rear wheels without losing the wheel openings. Hmmm...may have to try that with the one I got, since it's only in primer so far.

No problem Tony, I got you marked down for a pair ....I just have to clear a bunch of stuff off of the "in progress" list and get it moved to the "finished stuff" list first. I have already looked at the wide body version of the Nova and it won't be nearly as difficult to build as the last one...just need the time.(as always)

John, I don't guess I saw the NTRA logo that you had worked up before, or if I did I have slept since then and don't remember what it looks like. ;D
I am going to rework that NTRA logo I had up for the avatar and make something a bit different. Shoot me a pic of the NTRA logo you worked up and maybe I can take aspects of the one you did and the one I did and make a new one.
