The Oldsmobile is starting to come to life after shooting some white primer and a yellow base coat over it. Here is a shot after the jegs decals and a few clear coats were applied. Still need to add a chute, lexan windows and some trim detail. The body was a Lifelike Nascar that had windows molded into the body. A few of the modifications have been cutting out the windows and as shown above adding the hood scoop and styrene wing. This car will be mounted to a Tyco 440-X2. I took the body mounts out of an old Tyco body that was already thrashed.

The Dodge was also a lifelike Nascar. Same mods as the Olds.

Here is a Tbird. I made the hood scoop out of balsa wood. Easier than I thought it would be. I got the idea from Tim W. His P/S cars have balsa wood hood scoops.

The 84 Camaro after paint and decals. If your racing the MM/PS series at PSD and need a body, I'll sell this one. It mounts to a narrow 440-X2 chassis.

Another nice job Sam.
This car always stuck in my head...Lee Shepherd was a great P/S driver and the Reher-Morrison paint scheme, although simple, is immediately identifiable to long time drag racing fans.

Thanks Chris. Your right, simple paint scheme but effective in identifying.

Kim's Camaro. Lifelike body with balsa wood hood scoop and styrene wing. This hood scoop I shaped to look more like some of the tri-aero scoops that are out today. This car will get the color change paint and Summit decals like the 69 Camaro I did. I have to take my time with this one because the boss is close by . Thanks for giving us this body Steve!

Thanks Kevin. Give it a try. I've just been drawing on one side of the balsa wood and then rough cutting it with a hobby knife and smoothing things up with some 400 grit sanding paper. After one side is close then I start on the other side and eyeball the two sides until I like it. It'll take about 45 minutes to an hour of your time you'll never get back ;D.
