Dan, Have you tried casting one yet? Hot Wheels makes a nice one. You'll have to chop it to get the right wheel base though. TSS Hobbies sells Nostalgic decals that would go nice with them. Just a thought.

Just a thought. That is an option... I might have to go with that as I dont see many Tjet Thunderbolts... would that be allowed in the SS? Dan

Yeah Dan they are legal. I thought since you were doing a little casting that you might want to give this one a try. Meads do have a Tbolt with about 5-6 different decal options. Gave up on the import, did ya?

Don't forget that the Test and Tune is rapidly approaching us. If anybody is interested in some early runs and feedback on how your car (s) run..... Have them at Phil's house before March 22nd.
Phil's address and shipping info has been sent to everybody's Private Message box.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question. But here goes anyway. I'm building a car for this race and I have some tire questions. Are wider tires mandatory? I seem to be getting faster times with narrower rear tires. Do i just not have the horsepower that other are producing? Tyipcally I know how to build a tjet.
Also, can we use brass front wheels?
Thanks in advance for any help

Wider tires are NOT mandatory. I am likewise having better luck with silicone slip ons on t jet wheels (or at least equal performance) on one of my cars.
Our two FRONTLINE entries will be there (overnight grrr) albeit it with 'qualifying bodies' as we are still applying graphics. All four will be ready for the qualifying.
I dont recall if brass front wheels are specifically banned. This is a question for Chris. We do specify they should be within the confines of the body, (no fray front ends) and should exhibit a reasonable attempt at a realistic appearance. I think we envisioned Plastic T jet wheels tho Im not sure we specified. Front end ballast (weight) however is quite legal if within the bodies confines.
