02/15/2010 It was good to see some variety in the P/S field again yesterday with 2 Dodges and 1 Ford in NHRA'S P/S Eliminations. With some luck LM made it to the Semi Finals at Pomona and gave it a heck of try on the Tree but still came up a little short at the line against Anderson. Off to Arizona My LM replica. I sanded off the nose lip and wheel flares on my SKR resin body to give it more of a 2010 look.

03/03/2010 Hilltop's new C- Truck. Nice job on this truck and thanks for the body that I did not buy but was a gift I will be sending you some resin's for no cost as well. Yeah I'm trying to lighten the mood a little over all this Copyright stuff. It's a darn shame

Thanks Sam. I guess you could offer bodies for free, but charge a handeling fee for shipping supplies plus S&H...RM

03/12/2010 Great looking Camaro's Rick! Somewhere in central California . . . the quiet of a Thursday afternoon is shattered by Chevy Thunder. At a secluded track, two teams are making final preparations for the NTRA March Madness. There is much to do, and time is short . . .
Bill Jenkins is working through his test routine with his big-block Camaro. The Jenkins Super Crew is working through a long list: Tire changes, pickup shoe adjustments, two motor swaps, change the top gears, try different rim sizes, strong and weak magnets . . . Grumpy is definitely grumpy today.
Dave Strickler is tuning the high-winding Chevy small-block in his Camaro. His SS/F mouse motor gives away nearly 100 inches to Jenkins' rat motor, but with less weight, the copper Camaro is turning competitive times. Strickler is quick on the lights, and he's working on honing the reaction times. He knows that the Mopars he'll face at PMS are powerful, and the Fords will be formidable.
The sun is setting, the fog is rolling in off the Pacific, and there's nothing left to do but load 'em on the transporters and head east on I80. It's a long haul to St. Louis, and the weather could be bad in the Rockies. Time to hit the road.
As the crews secure their cars in the haulers and load the tool boxes, they are too busy to notice a black Charger with Ohio plates slowly pulling away from a secluded vantage point . . .

Thanks! But the question is: Are they fast enough? Guess I'll find out in a week . . .
BTW, the decals came from Mead Brothers. I really hope they're back in business soon, and still able to offer vintage racer decals.
Best, Rick V.
