Bored with Drag Racing??  Sam! Sacrilegious! Sure will be neat when they come out with the nostalgia cars... Like John Force's old Brute Force. It will explode and catch fire on the way down the track. Wait a minute... Ashley's did that a couple weeks ago.  May not sound like it but I'm still a fan. It's the ESPN broadcast that I'm tired of.  |

I totally agree guys,but hey ,if eveyone wants these nostalgia cars lets all email AW and maybe even send them some pictures of our cars to show them how cool they look.
I beleive if you want something to become a reality email and bug the people.I know you might not beleive this and iam not tooting my own horn,but i think i had something to do with this drag strip set coming out.
I had emailed Tom Lowe and Suggested a Drag strip set and me and him were talking back and forth for a few days about it , and how cool HO drag strips were back in the day,when some of the HO sets would have an option Drag strip you could make,anyway i have even suggested a a very cool racing set to him and he also liked it,but was lol and said One at a time.I suggested a Dirt looking oval racing set,and that it could have some catch fence in the corners like the real dirt tracks and come with some small stands for people and the cars that come with the set could be like fairground saturday night bomber cars,like old 55 chevys,71 Nova's,and old torino's and then they could do a dirt series HO set,Sprint cars,Late models.Anyway he thought that ideas was very cool.So i beleive in putting a bug in their ear about things you want to see.
Just my Opinion.hey I could also email my contact who is working on this Drag strip set and suggest it to him and seewhat he says.

ok guys i just saw this picture from AW at the show,Did anyone notice the whole shelf is slots right,ok well there looks to be Monster Truck slot cars and did anyone notice the white Mockup protoype of what looks to be a 24th scale slot chassis,and the blister packs i believe are also slot cars.bottom two shelfs are i think slot car stuff  |

But you know what ,were missing something really exciting guys,they said they were bring out a 8 car set including the two force cars,so that would be and it looks like to me there are extra funny car bodies in that case!!!!! i cant wait,where do you get this picture is there anymore,the rreason why i ask is look close at the shelf below this one,under the Napa car,there is a Monster energy drink logo on a 1-64 scale funny car ,and that is the some packaging that the slot cars are coming in.makes ya wanna say ....Hmmmmmmmmmm ..Oh myGod Guys watch This video!!!!! I think the Monster car might be a die cast just by looking at the wheels on it, not sure? It would be a cool collectors item though... if that Monster (TJJ) car came with the John Force collectors card packaging that is shown Also, are those new pictures the actual slot car bodies? The wheelie bars are grey instead of chrome like the ones pictured a few months back. Are there any pictures of all these recent bodies mounted on a chassis besides the Force cars? Just curious because after the bait and switch we saw in the first add with the die cast posing as slot cars a few months back, I think it's only fair of AW to release actual photos of what is being released. I hope these new pictures you guys posted are the actual bodies because they look better than the ones below.          |

Oh hey guys by the way on a little differnt subject,i saw last night in the new issue of drag racing action, magazine,when you open the it up on the first page,there is a nice size advertisment for this HO drag set,and then i bought the new issue of drag racer and there is an advertisment for john force website and again there is a nice size ad for this set ,and he will be selling it on his website for $99,so ol Tom Lowe doing a bit of advertising,LOL

Oh yeah i think thats diecast,sorry,at first i thought it was a slot car,but its 1/64 collectable diecast car.Sorry about that there Sam,LOL but hey the monster trucks kinda look cool,LOL

Ok guys Guys got some exciting news about the HO drag sets!!!,,yes i said drag sets as in more than one!!! got an anwswer from my contact today.so here it goes.... there are going to be 10 drag cars released this year and MORE next Year!!!!! as for the drag sets this year,there is going to be a MAC Tools Set......And a Snap on Tools Set,along with the John force set,then he said they are doing a set I must be a Stock car set i think,its With NTB (National Tire and Battery) and will include 2 Super III cars,and he said an entire track loop.said they might do a promotion with them like buy 4 tires installed and get the race set for free.
So Sam i guess your Question of (are all those HO bodies in that picture?)Is yes.it looks like those four Funny car bodies of the Mac tools and snap on tools will be the bodies included in those sets. and more drag cars will be done for next year too.
Well guys there you have it,i have a reply to him about what is this NTB going to be .once i find out all of you buddies here will be the first to know.

Got the answer on the NTB track set.wow get this guys,this is like old school!!!! it will be is a 2 in 1 set ,it will come with 2 pro stock cars,and 2 super III Stockers so you can use its as a oval track with the stock cars or use it as a drag set with the return loop!!!!! So there you have it guys.

The way i get it is you can buy cars by themsleves,becuase of you scroll back up to the picture of the box,it says cars sold separately,ron capps,jack beckham..etc,etc.

Well got an answer Lbrown about your question and you are right and iam very dissapointed,the Mac Tools,Snap On tools,and the NTB cars will NOT be sold separately!!!!!!
But i figure if everyone on here that deosnt agree with this calls them and or emails them once their main site is back up and tell them how dissapointed you are about this ,we might be able to change their minds.it cant hurt guys,it can only help.
