As stated before, the top 8 qualifiers will run a normal 8 car bracket for the Top Eliminator.
The cars that qualified 9-26 will race a best 2 out of 3 with the closest qualifier (9 runs 10, 11 runs 12, etc.) Check out how close most of those races should be.
9-10 .001 difference 11-12 .031 13-14 .007 15-16 .006 17-18 .008 19-20 .003 21-22 .014 23-24 .031 25-26 .013
Also, Bluygnuoy's second car actually qualified in the #8 spot with a 1.084. Due to the "one car in the quick 8 per owner"rule, that car will sit this race out. The rest of the cars moved up one spot.

I'm going to start with the number 25 and 26 qualifiers and work backwards to the quick 8. Remember this is a best 2 out of 3 series. The first pair has #35 B.I.D's red Challenger racing #20 Slotman55's white Camaro. On the first pass, slotman takes the win with a 1.336 to BID's 1.644. The second pass ends with the same results, slotman runs 1.405 to BID's 1.570. Slotman55 wins, taking 2 races in a row.

The second pair has Ninjateck's silver Grand National against Scottman's white and blue Camaro. The first pass has Scottman winning with a 1.452 to Ninja's 1.500. On the second pass, Ninja runs a 1.419, Scottman runs 1.459 but a .510 light gives Scottman the win. The win margin was just .004 seconds. Scottman wins in 2 straight.

Our third pair has #19 red Daytona from Nitro Nut Racing verses #27 Charley's yellow Nomad. Run #1 has Nitro taking the win with a 1.288 to Charley's 1.360. The second pass is more of the same. Nitro wins 1.249 to a losing 1.363. Nitro Nut takes the win with 2 in a row. Just in case you are wondering, we are alternating lanes every pass.

Up next is #37 Slotman55's black Camaro and #17 SST1610's yellow Torino. The first pass has the Torino taking the win with a 1.306 to Slotman's slowing 1.976. We took a quick look at the camaro but didn't see an obvious reason for the slow down. On the second pass Slotman takes the win with a 1.832 to a red lighting 1.323 by SST Run #3 breaks the tie with SST's 1.305 taking the win over Slotmans 1.971. Slotman's car started slowing down on it's second qualifying pass yesterday. His 1.257 qualifying pass was the very first pass that it made. SST1610 wins the pairing with a best 2 out of 3.

Pair #5 has #30 Nosubfor3's maroon Nomad against #22 Shooter's black 55 Chevy. Pass number 1 has the 55 taking the win with a 1.268 to the Nomads 1.274. The second time around the nomad bests the 55 with a 1.282 to a 1.291. Pass #3 is decided by a red light. Nosub's Nomad takes the win with a 1.278 over Shooter's quicker 1.210. Shooter's driver cut a .490 light. Sorry buddy. Nosubfor3 wins the Heavy Chevy battle 2 out of 3
