Awards and Prizes  Ladies and gentlemen, we present the 2011 NTRA Manufacturers Funny Car Championship Team: Wood, Nosubfor3, Bluegnuoy, and Bondoman2K. Congratulations on a perfect day at The Beach!  N/FC Top Eliminator Wood receives this custom trophy from HairyCanary. Congratulations, Wood, you killed 'em today.  Bondoman2K racked up more points for the Chevy and Independent teams in NF/C competition than anyone else, and that makes him the Top Gun. He'll receive this handsome award from HairyCanary. Way to go, Bondo!  440gtx was the class of Pro Stock with his two mighty Mopars. Landy nearly choked on his cigar after going into the sand trap, but Matt was the Lion King in NP/S at Lions Drag Strip. Congrats, Matt!  But wait, there's more! We've got more great prizes to hand out at Lions Drag Strip. Eagleracing sent this awesome slingshot dragster body, a fitting prize for the Fourth of July. We drew names out of a hat for this one, and it was Bluegnuoy's lucky day. Thanks, Eagleracing, and Semper Fi! 440gtx will provide custom printed T-shirts for the Top Eliminator and Top Gun winners. Thanks, Matt! Ninjatek will award a set of NTRA posters to three lucky entrants. We drew the names out of a hat, and the poster sets will be on their way to Charley, Eagleracing, and JJWallace! Thanks to all the sponsers for the neat prizes and to Rick and his better half for the hard work and time that went into this race. Now Yea Haaa Team Chevy lays one down. Thanks to all the competitors who worked so hard on cars and sent them in to the race. The cars were beautiful just gorgous. Rick your track is top notch. I have set my goals to have at track that comes close. Thanks agian to all =)

Thanks to Rick and the crew at Lions for the great race, fantastic coverage, and an amazing race facility to race at! And thanks to, eagle racing, 440gtx, ninjatek, and Hairy Canary for all the cool stuff. Great job by all the racers too. The cars looked great and the racing was a ball. Time to get back to the shop and start getting ready for the next one!

Great weekend of racing!
Awesome looking cars, great commentary, and fantastic attention to
detail from the the Lion's Dragstrip. Big thanks to RickV and the Lion's staff for
running our cars and hosting the event.

AWSOME EVENT RICK !!!,Congrats to all the winners today and to everyone on here that makes this the best HO drag racing in the Country.Also a huge thanks to Hairy Canary,who was swamped with doing decals and bodies and wasnt abale to make this event,Hairy get a stock build up of bodies in advance ,so you can race again.Congrats to my Buddy And Nephew Calvin For his awosome metallica funny car and his first event. and How about those awsome trophies, I got to Win me one some day.Cant wait til the next event and thanks again to Rick and his Wife for having our events,the track is just so awosome and i love all the stories that go with your events..See everyone in the staging lanes!!!!

Congrats to team Chevy on an impressive showing. You guys administered a savage woopin' on the rest of the field. Hats off to you all! Grats to Wood for not only anchoring two teams but also winning the Top Eliminator award. Way to go Bondo on winning the Top Gun award, you deserve it. Congratulations to everyone that won rounds both yesterday and today. I really hope to see the new racers come back for the next race.
Rick, you and your team truly put on a first class show. Thanks for taking time out of your Holiday weekend to do this for us. I know summer is a busy time and we really do appreciate it.
