Thanks Kiwidave, the Anglia was quite a bit of work. Now I just have to come up with a good idea for painting.

;D no pics, gave me an excuse to redo it. I have already repaired it. Funny, I can make as many as I want and I repair it. The shut down area is 3' 9"and it is all a dead strip. That runs into a catch box a foot deep with towels and foam. If you can run through all of that and hit the back of the box you might set a track record ;D.

Today worked on my Texas Outlaw Unlimited front engine dragster today. Time is running out and I still don't have it running as well as it should. May have to rethink my approach and start over

I haven't even started building mine yet. I hope to get it built this weekend and do some testing the following weekend.

Sam, track record is up for grabs. This is the first time we have ever run this class. This class offers the racer a chance to be innovative, to try out a new design. It doesn't matter if fails. The idea is to put forth new ideas within the parameters of the race. The must innovative car may not win the race, but it may have some good ideas. This allows other racers to use those ideas and build a better car. Want an example? When the race was announced only Eagle Racing and Hairy Canary offered bodies that were ready. Now we have SKR and Lone Star with bodies. We also have ninjatek with a low budget very creative front engine dragster design. If your a motor builder you better find someone to run your motor or enter yourself. This is the perfect race for a motor builder. Maybe your a racer with a fast arm laying in the box, wondering if it really is fast. This is your race ;D

Hey guys, was wondering what kind of arm/mag arrangment everyones going with for the FED event. Have seen some numbers (ohms) mentioned for arms. But nothing said about magnets. Seems in prior events I remember rears getting blown with 4g's. So since this is my first build of a 4g with the ohm range under that of a mean green. I'm going with a balanced 4.4 ohm arm (not advanced) and poly's. Really just switching the arm in T/F from last event at the Blacktop Raceway.
Was thinking about what Robert said, about ideas within parameters and others being able to use those ideas. Thought that if all involved in FED race would give a breakdown of the build they are going to use. Then those of use trying to learn from this race, would get a better idea of what might work for them. More so after the results of the races are in. Looking forward to the races, this is going to be fun to see results. Could be more fun knowing what everyone is running. just thinking .......... Peter
