Took a while but here are the pics of my latest 4Gear casting. This is my take on a 1970 Chevelle in Pro Mod Door Slammer form. The flames are air brushed not decals. I used a white base followed with Wicked Golden Yellow and Wicked Laguna Blue. I fade the yellow, then the blue over part of the yellow to give it a touch of green flame. It all ends with blue tips. The decals are of course all mine.

Awesome work as usual Robert!! I've been waiting to see this one. Looks fast, but is it? I only ask because it's a Che........uuuuhhhh nevermind....  I'm sure it is. Looking forward to the race.

Thanks for the kind words and thumbs up fellows. I had a lot fun with this one. I am still working on it. I am making improvements to finished glass work. Looking to give it a tinted glass effect. The chassis is of course sooo sloooow, till race day . Hoping to improve over last outting. I have never won this class, but it is one of my favorite classes. |

Have been doing several sets of these skinny tires for racers. Here is a set of tires I did for my Chevelle. The inserts I bought years ago, just never used.

The Chevelle is finally complete. Got the new wheels with inserts and tires mounted on chassis. Did a few test runs down the Blacktop and it is really sloooow. If ya cann't be fast at least look good

For me it is already time to start the next build. It is a 33 Willys for the Gasser Class at Lions. The body is one of Ricks aka Hairy Canary. I do not cast any TJet bodies. Eagle Racing bodies are mainly Road Race castings. I only cast a few drag bodies, around 40 last count. So stay tuned, I'll post pics on progress. I have never air brushed a TJet, so flames that small should be fun.

Eagle I know it is kinda of late notice but would you paint me and the girls another car. We want one of those Camaro funny cars you make. Of course painted in our colors pink n black :-[the details we leave to you, thank you. Oh we sent a Email saying same thing. Just want to make sure you see request.

Yes I saw it. I will come up something based on your email. I am actually casting today so I will ad that mold to the rest I am doing. LIONS is an AWESOME race all top shelf you will like it!!!

With one NTRA race left, Lions it is time to start tearing down some cars. Got a few new ideas just for Nostalgia Top Fuel (F.E.D.). So I think I will race prep those chassis's first. Lots to do in that class to be competitive.

The hauler left today headed to Florida. It is carrying the Grim Reaper 59 Caddy Hearse, a couple other car bodies for prizes and Dougs Chevelle. Good Luck Racers!!!

Well finally got the cars all tuned up. My second gasser....well it has major horsepower problems...  No MG in this one using a motor Slotfather gave me. It is red with green wire 6ohm on all three poles. It is however not very fast. It sounds good but no speed. Fast or slow I like to race so it's going to the show. |
