Hell, don't feel bad.My Gasser is in the same boat, just an old Tuff Ones car that I haven't burned up as a kid.Mostly because it seems pretty slow to me so I likely didn't use it as much for that reason.

LOL....I have been trying to put another Gasser together since last year. I do not really have a good parts selection for this class. Running hand me down chassis and arm. I figured if I got it built I could improve on it for next year. I do have another Gasser in the race and it is a little faster...

That's it I cann't take it anymore . This Gasser just gets slower and slower. I hate to do this. I am going to tear another car down and take the MG motor out of it. I gotta see if it is just the motor holding it back or am I missing something else .

I'm so happy my #2 problem Gasser spun out of control and crashed. Oh yea, that means it is finally getting faster. I am not saying it is competitive but it is now faster than 1.4 ... I may have to ad traction magnets

Have been doing a lot of planning for the up coming 2014 race season. I have been looking at resurfacing the Blacktop Raceway. I am always looking for ways to improve the videos and of course the race. The next race for the Blacktop will be the 2014 Bracket race in January. There is lots of room to improve here. So it will be a major focus going into the new year.

Plans are finalized, the Blacktop Raceway is being rebuilt for 2014. The Blacktop will be a walk around track with a double wide racing surface. I am going to buy material for up grade today. Pics to follow of course

Thank you Phantom, here are a couple of pics. The first pic is the start of construction.
The second pic is of the first section complete. There will be four of these sections and one smaller section. These will set on tables, like in the pic. The potential is huge with this new layout.

Thanks Phantom, I have to say that I have been inspired to rebuild the Blacktop by MY MAIN CUZZO Jeff aka jjwallace. Jeff and I have been talking about this for quite sometime. I now have just 2 sections left to complete and the track shelfs will be complete. Then all the detail work begins. I already have a pretty good working plan of what I want it to look like.
