Thanks for all the kind words on the car and track. Details is what it is all about now on the track. Got to build somemore buildings. Started landscaping around the track. Have to cut down the size of the old stone walls that ran length of track. The cool part of how I am doing this is I only setup one 4 foot section at a time and detail it. So when it is time to put up tools and tables that goes fast. Not like setting up the entire track everytime I need to do some detail work. More pics to follow soon.

The landscape crew did not show up and the meeting with the architect for the grand stands was rescheduled. However the crew working on the shut down area completed there work, I have hired another architect to design and build starting and finish line gantrys. These will house IR emitters.

Here are a couple of pics of the remodeled Blacktop Raceway. The grass has been laid and the concrete completed. I ran a few test runs to test out the shut down area. The test was a success. I used a inline unlimited, way faster than anything we use in the NTRA.

Man that double track is really the only way to go with the sectioned track. That has such a good look to it. Very sharp. It's going to look really good when you finish the details. I enjoy seeing the project. Blacktop Raceway 2014 is going to be awesome.

Today I worked on the track graphics. I did a search on drag strip starting lines and picked out some of the best. That gives me some basic ideas and then the rest is my imagination . Building this track sure has been fun. I can hardly wait to run the 1st NTRA race on it .

Hope everybody had a great Turkey Day. I dug out my old Alps MD-1000 printer and tore into it. It has not worked in over a year. I just thought I would take it apart and clean it up and put it back together and see what happen. OOOOOH Yeah!! I don't know what I did exactly to make it work but it now prints perfect ! I didn't even have any screws left over... ...
