Very cool!!! Thanks Eagle Racing for the funny car body. It will be put to good use for match races with my harry canary 70 camaro funny car. TGM2054 you've done an outstanding job with the race and I am looking forward for the next one!

Thanks for hosting the race Tom. Great job dude. Thanks to all the venders for their generosity also. I finally have some gear lube and oil. I've been using 40 year old Aurora oil. LOL

I hope all who participated in the Winter Nationals enjoyed themselves. Even if you did not have an entry I hope all were entertained with the results. NTRA wishes to thank all involved for helping to put on a spectacular event. Special thanks to Tom – aka TGM2054, the host and Race Master for the event. Thanks goes out to the crew and racers of Des Moines Dragway that assisted Tom in putting on the event. Behind the scenes Tom encountered several obstacles which will have crippled a person of lesser caliber. Tom managed to regain control of things and persevered to keep the event flowing. This event is his first as Race Master for an NTRA race. On top of that he ushered in a new style of NTRA drag racing by hosting NTRA’s first Flashlight series of drag racing. When this guy jumps in to help, he means to get dirty. Thank for everything, Tom. I would now like to thank all of our sponsors who supplied some fantastic prizes. Well gang, you WILL see me at the next event! ;D Being that I am actually the 'defending' Doorslammer class winner, I HAVE to be there!  (actually, if it has the word "Doorslammer" in the name, you can BET I'll be there...LOL). And, I will be unveiling my 'new and improved' Doorslammer at that event btw. Eddie, your going to like the stuff from Slot Car Express. I use the lubes, and comm drops and I prepped the track before the race with the slot rail and braid cleaner. I'm really impressed with it all.
On another note, everybody's rigs headed out this morning, should be there Monday or so. Thats the one thing about Iowa, those boxes are headed every which direction! Thanks everybody! Now get something ready for the Spring Nationals!

The rules are already posted Mac. Just click the link at the top of the page "NTRA 2012 Race Schedule and Rules Directory". Those rules are in effect for all of the classes at all of the races in 2012. Also there's a scedule for what races are at which tracks. Ron (Bondo) |
