The first time I ever saw a Ford Pantera I loved it, probably more because it was American Horsepower. Great job jj

Looks good Jeff, I have sold several of those with the wing on ebay. That body handles well on the road course. I will be racing your Pantera in the brackets with my C4 Corvette with some Tyco power. The wife says I went over the top on this one. All I did was have a buddy who owns a paint shop pull the exact color of my 96 C4, Sebring Silver and air brush my Tyco slot car the exact same color. How can that be consider over the top? It's true the paint cost a tad more than Model Master , but hey I like realism. Remember when we did the green screens and I shrunk our images and put us next to our cars on the Blacktop for a promotional video.... . Now that was over the top..... Just wait till this years Summer Nationals.

The first time I ever saw a Ford Pantera I loved it, probably more because it was American Horsepower. Great job jj I would give anything to have one of my own, but this will be the closest I ever get. Eagle actually did the painting on this one. I just pulled it out of the box and cleaned it up. There are no classes that it would be legal in other than Bracket so I'm happy to be able to use it. Robert and I did a little road racing right before we found Nitroslots and it was one of the first bodies I got from him. That body handles very well on the road courses as Robert stated. I will be adding a little detail to the body and another clear coat, but I want to keep it clean.

Progress report on N/FC Cuda build. I have the front axle mounts ground off the body and new 4 gear body mounts installed. Body is sitting like I want it now. This may be my favorite AFX body ever. Hairy Canary sent me a couple of intact rear light/wheelie bars assemblies that he has cast when he saw that I was building this car. Thank you...thank you Rick. You are awesome!! Next is primer and paint.

This dragster was already posted in Member Rides, but also wanted on the Bear Creek thread. Here is the before and after. It had a nice paint job before I started, but I decided to do something else with it and stripped it down to start over.

THODRA Race #2 was a great success today. We had a good time as Eagle and I do anytime we get together. I think we may have sparked some interest with Jordan......he won the Bracket class! He enjoyed the friendly competition. Robert brought it as he always does and came away with most wins for the race. He pushes me to be at my best. I had the faster cars in most classes, but failed miserably on the lights in the Finals. Although I have run and been driver for several proxy races, this was only my 2nd race to run my own cars. I get pumped up and need to learn a little more about dealing with the adrenalin. I am hardest on myself but that's my nature. I am loving this club racing and am already looking forward to Race #3 in July. Sucks that I have to wait that long for redemption and sucks even more that I will have to listen to Robert till then..........LMAO! Just kidding. Congratulations to Robert and Jordan on their wins today.Next up...NTRA SUMMER NATIONALS at BLACKTOP RACEWAY!! Be there or be square

I had a lot of fun racing at Bear Creek today Jeff. I enjoyed meeting your son and going to lunch with you guys. Sam I really don't have to say much. I just listen to Jeff beat himself up and grin. Although there is the occasional out burst of uncontrollable laughter....

Finished up the Cuda N/FC project. Another simple clean design. Wasn't looking for anything fancy on this one. I have a few ongoing projects that I want to finish up and several new ones that I am starting now. Also starting on my M/FC inline N3 build for the Summer Nationals.
