Hi, my name is Johney, hey i have question maybe you could answer it for me, I have the Slot Dragon timing system on my new track too, i have my E.T. read out at the finish line facing back towards the starting line, but the et/rt indicators show on the opposite lane of which im racing on, my left lane car shows the results on the right side of the Slot Dragon display and and on the right lane shows it on the left side display, now i could turn the display around so that you could see it properly looking at it from the finish line towards the starting line but i want to see it from the starting line, does yours do that? thanks Johney from Sacramento Ca

Try switching the wires around at the "Y" adapter.

Are you using optical sensors? Sounds like they could be backwards. I identified right and left on mine before I glued them into the track. Have you tried switching them?

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. I'm almost done. Kiwi....I'm taking a page from your track build and adding some of those cool led street lights. They looked so cool on your track I couldn't resist. You get all of the credit for that one. More to come.

The track is looking good Jeff. It's timing cells are right? Mine are still not quite there.. but i'm trying lol. And i'm a nutcase cause my track is built from my kitchen into the living room of my apartment but i don't have any other place to do it. It's cool tho, working on my cars and track keeps me out of trouble these days. Building with limited resources makes it slow going but gives me a totally custom track! Taking ideas from everyone and coming up with my own way is sweet! One more step in enjoying this hobby of ours. Thanks for your time and the helpful hints about the lighting... ...............Doug412

Thanks Doug....sorry to hear you are still having trouble with sensors. Mine are working well with the exception of one. I guess it may have gotten bumped or something when I was putting track back up. It's got a short in it and will randomly open and close. I have another one on it's way so it won't be a problem. I'll have it fixed in a week. What kind of problems are you experiencing? I know all about budget building...both cars and track. I sold off a bunch of stuff from one hobby to pay for another and the majority of my track was built from a scrap pile of lumber that's been in the corner of the garage since we bought the house. Very little out of pocket until I started detailing. Mine runs right down the center of my garage. Sure does help to have a track to test on. I am really enjoying this stuff. Good luck at the race. Jeff
