I'm a little behind on posting. Jeff I will look and see if I can find any of the wheelie/wheel bumpers for that Cuda I did years ago. If I find any I'll send you some. I cast the Corvette many moons ago and then re did it to look more like The Beach City Chevrolet car and there was a few others that used that same body. Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr Bill I cast the Life Like Nomad last year and used the back half and the front end of my 57 Pro Mod to make the Nomad Pro Mod that's almost ready to mold. Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr And the 55 Hot Wheels Chevy Gasser I did years ago too. When I get a chance I will dig out these molds and see if any of them are any good ? Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr Hey Rick thank you! I think you sent me two or three of those. I know one went on my Cuda but I'll be darned if I can find the others. It's not like me to misplace specialty stuff like that and I would have made a mold of my own if I only had one left. So as of right now it's a mystery....I've looked everywhere. Man I miss your stuff!! Like Bill said you always have super cool castings and customs! Those are all beauties! Jeff I dug out the mold I had for the rear bumper/wheelie wheels for the Cuda and I cant believe I found it let alone it was still any good. But it was and I got some decent ones cast if you can still use them ? Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr

My accessories always seem rougher than I like.

The Cuda project is ready for first primer coat and blocking to get everything smoothed out. I added some material to the rocker panels to extend them slightly. Very subtle but it makes a big difference to me. I've always felt like this body had a "flat" look to it. This gives the body a little bit of rake like the real car. This one will not have the factory wheelie bars and I have molded in the rear panel. Body mounts are installed. There is a little bit of room so the racer can fine tune the stance. The windshield and injector hood will be separate. Pretty happy with this one so far.

It’s a great body but always felt they blew it on the rear end. Been working on some Matchbox 70 rears to swap onto it. Want to do the 70 front end as well.

That 'Cuda look's much "meaner" than before . I think you hit the stance perfect.

First Cuda and Avenger castings are out of the mold and they turned out very nice. Casting some of the new bodies this weekend. The Cuda project showed that almost any body can be saved. On a scale of 1 to 10 it would have been a 2 or 3. It was bad. '69 Mustang Pro Mod will be the next project on the desk.

Jeff very impressive restore on the Cuda. You did a awesome job on Avenger and Mustang bodies too. Liking what you did on the Studebaker also. The Studebaker that Gale give me is one of my favorite bodies. It’s in line for paint some day ?

Nice job on the Cuda. I think I still have one or two of those. None have the wheelie bars still on them however.
