This thread is locked until race time. This thread will have all of the qualifying and racing coverage tomorrow starting at 2:00pm MST. Please join us for a day of racing action in the thin Colorado air. We will be keeping you up to date with race results and pictures throughout the day. This thread will be unlocked at the start of qualifying. Please feel free to comment throughout the event, as we like to hear from those that are following along with us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those involved with the terrible tragedies throughout this week. Lets remember that we are only racing toy cars and that good sportsmanship has always been what this group is about.

Welcome to the 2013 Rocky Mountain Spring Nationals held at Drag City USA. We are bringing you live HO Proxy Drag Racing from Colorado Springs, Colorado. As many of you know this is the former Psycho Slots Drag Strip that held NTRA's first ever proxy drag racing event back in 2008. Schedule of events: Qualifying: -Gasser -MM/PS -NT/F also known as F.E.D. We will make 2 FULL qualifying passes for each car (one in each lane). We will do our best to get each car down the lanes under full power. Cars that are ill handling will get additional set up help. Bare with us during qualifying. We want everyone to get a fair chance at a good pass which can require extra time to set wheelie bars and braids. We hope to have all qualifying done by 5pm MST (3 hours). Eliminations: -Gasser B -Gasser A -MM/PS B -MM/PS A -NF/T Ladders will be set up using NHRA's system. www.nhra.com/competition/ladders.aspxBye Runs: as per club rules. We only allow one bye run per car. Quickest E/T of qualifying gets the first bye run in round 1. This car will not get another bye run during eliminations. Stay tuned, GASSER qualifying is up next. |
