Question on N/FC Tires/Wheels? Rules say "any available slip-on silicones; .550" diameter maximum". My thought on this was that stock wheels were to be used. During race coverage this weekend I noticed several types of wheels being used. Was I wrong about this? Are any wheels allowed?

Good observation, Pete. The intention was for the class to be near stock, allowing the changing of slip-ons. As the rules were at the time of the race, from what I can observe all cars were within specs of the rules. I have, since your post made a change in the Wheels/Tires section of N/FC rules. Had this change been in place at the time of the race, I could only find 1 car for sure in violation and 1 questionable (unable to determine from photo).

Good thing I didn't send the old Dewey, Cheatum & Howe Cuda or the Omni, both of those have double flanged wheels on them. Here's a question, are the smaller wheels for the standard AFX cars legal? The reason I ask is because it's hard to find a tire that will fit the stock 4gear wheels and still clear the bodies when they are lowered down and the wheel wells are uncut. I tried cutting some stock width tires and I think thats why my car was jumping around so much this past weekend. Thanks for clearing this up.

The no wheelie wheel rule means no aftermarket? Not the molded in set.

just noticed these rules are a little different than what is posted in the directory.
Are Vincent rims acceptable or do the have to be AFX/AW?

In the past all that mattered was .550 size and must be slip on,so as the racemaster at Atco Dragway that's all I will be looking for unless told other wise.I feel if we can't change the wheels up any more then the class is just 4gear stock in my eyes.

I changed both my N/FC rear wheels to meet the new rules. It is highlighted in blue AW/AFX front and rear, seems pretty clear to me.

yup, pretty clear above. I thought my post above was also pretty clear that the rules in the directory are different as well. No worries, I'll change them.
