that is why the rules are set at the end of the racing season or before the start of the new one not in the middle of the season and I like the statement- I f is not metioned it is not legal just my 2 cents.

I forgot a few more things when the rules say a certain tire size and guys send stuff too big their response is that is all I had or they are just a little bit bigger I you do not have the right tires or mags or whatever do not send cars until they conform to the rules and the same for arms some guys cars went to a race with mean greens in a stock class and how about weight? any tech at all? I am a stickler for rules been racing big cars since 1972 and got disqualified because I did not have a double throttle return spring. again just my 2 cents.

Recall seeing mention that a 1" wheelie-bar was going to be the max size allowed next season........... what point is this measured from ? Rear of chassis or body ? ........... tia, Peter Peter this is how it is currently written and since it references next season I believe this to be accurate. WHEELIE BARS: Wheelie bars are permitted. They should assume a reasonable prototype appearance. Wheelie bars must be so constructed as to not cause any short circuits or interfere with cars in other lanes. Wheelie bars must not exceed 1 1/4 (one and a quarter) inches in extension, as measured from the rear axle center line the center line of the wheelie wheel or axle. (Wheelie bars originally set at 2 inch max. length then changed to 1 1/4 inch. Beginning 2015 1 1/4 inch rule to be enforced.)

Thanks Jeff , don't think I've seen this before......... so it's from the axle. Need to pick up brass rod......... have doubts about tubing being short and bending to adjust for fit........ will get going on them now I know.......... do about a dozen ........ give-aways for race in fall. .......... When I saw your post I thought I remembered seeing it somewhere. Found it again in the NTRA rules thread that is still under construction. Doing my first ever 4g bars for my FED.
