We were going to start PASS TIME GAME after Dave's race in NZ, but it was suggested to start early.
The Game:
1. One car will make one pass down the Blacktop Raceway (15ft 7 1/2" timed length, Power 0-30V 20amp adjustable power supply) @20 volts. A picture will be shown of the car.
2. The 3 closest times will be awarded points as follows: first 10 points, second 8 points, third 6 points and everybody else gets 4 points just for trying. If your time is exact you get 3 bonus points. There will be 8 passes with 8 different cars.
After 8 passes we will total points, contestant with most points wins prize.
PRIZE AW TOP FUEL DRAGSTER
3. All contestants may ask one question about the car. Once you pick a time it is a done deal (no changing times).
4. When the car pic is posted you may ask your question. Each cars pass will be at RANDOM (that means no set time). You snooze you loose, SO PAY ATTENTION TO THE FORUM.
5. The game starts Saturday 6/14/2014.
6. Any Nitroslots member can play except Eagle and jjwallace. We are your game host.

Game starts Saturday - is that Plano, or Euless time........lol........if Sunday is Monday in Euless, is Friday, Saturday...........

This will be a fun game. I did something similar awhile back but did upgrades with one car. It was a lot of fun. Pass Time |

Last time I did this was before the 2012 Summer Nationals and I ran 10 cars. Not as much time this time so couple less cars. It is a fun game. This time 4 cars are mine and 4 cars are Jeff's. We also mixed it up by running at a voltage that we do not race at.

Hey Rob,
Can I wait for more questions to be answered ? Could go ballpark now - .7750. But sure would like to know tire size & gears ......... hint hint hint.......
Can you give us an idea of how long we have to submit times, after questions begin for each ? A day ? Two, three ?
Another question - can times submitted be changed as more questions might be answered ?

Once time is submitted it is done deal. Peter this ballpark time you have given is more of a question so will not count unless you want it to. Time frame will not be the same for all runs. The next pass will be 6/17. The time for this pass #1 will be posted that day. The posted time could be early or late. That is why everyone needs to ask questions as quickly as possible. This game is going to move fast 5 of the runs will be done before the end of this month.

Thanks Rob, missed entering times last time waiting for answers, about things like MOTOR MAGNETS............ another hint hint hint......
So it sounds like at least two days from pic to pass time........ 5 passes 2 weeks or so.......
Was thinking with stock crown, with smaller crown .750 is my guesstimate............. Peter
