Hollywood Nights had some cool.cars in it........ and my ---- is in the punch. Don't remember the rest. American Graffiti , had the yellow coupe and some drag racing. Funny, ....I forgot all about American Graffiti. I guess because the main theme is cruising; not so much racing. It was the vastly inferior sequel that had John Milner drag racing in it at the strip.

Love the Graffiti move, here is the milner coupe in 3 scales one a T Jet slot car..... Very nicely done. I related to the 55 Chevy far more since I raced several and drove them on the street as did many others in my time. Now you only see them in car shows. I might get a street version just to drive it again. It would surely not be a stocker by any means. In the movie the actual 55 had a BB 427 with a single 4 and it was much quicker than the roadster. The 55 also appeared in 2 lane blacktop where it had a 2-4 tunnel ram setup. It was reported to be able to run in the high 10s which was crazy fast for 1970.

Guys you forgot the movie Heart like a wheel. There was another one dont no the name but they had drag cars in the desert with a hot chick driving or doing the wrinching anyway there was a nova that flipped over. On another note dont no much about how the sound could be hooked on to work but what about sensor down the track ? If the sensors can pick up fast car why couldnt the pick up the sound when triggered ?

Heart like a wheel was the Shirley Muldowney story. It surely was drag race oriented. For me the American Graffiti movie related to my own youth a lot more and I liked the story more. The sequel was more into the drag racing with Milner running a dragster.
