Yesterday saw some great racing in Pro Street ending with an epic Final! That final saw #1 and #3 run identical ET's. Today is a new day and the remaining three classes will be run. I am sure we will see more great racing! Let's get to it! First up will be Nostalgia Pro Stock. Eliminations to begin shortly.  [/font][/font]

 Race 1 KS1933 does all he can do against the #1 qualifier Phantom and gets the holeshot. But the Motown Missile is a "missile" today and puts the '57 on the trailer Phantom wins .876et to 1.73et.
 Race 2 The Chevelle jumps out to a car length at the hit and keeps the lead over Nosubs #5 Camaro all the way down the track. Both cars improve their times. Jordan wins 1.002et to .961et
 Race 3 Nosubs #6 Camaro is out first. It looks like Phantoms Grumpys Toy might make up the gap, but Nosub pulls away at half track. Nosub wins 1.018et to 1.057et.
Race 4 Eagle needs nothing short of a perfect light for any chance but pushes too hard and brings on the bottom bulb. SKRs Vega runs close to his qualifying time. SKR by default .965 to RL.

Here we go.........it's Semi Finals time! Who's it going to be?
Semi 1 Phantom and the Mopar get out first and goes into severe tire shake followed by a deslot. Looks like it may have bounced on wheelie bar. The Chevelle drives by and takes the win. What an upset! Jordan is going to the Finals 1.004et to a deslot.
Semi 2 This race pits the #2 qualier SKR against the #3 qualifier Nosub. Nosub needs a holeshot against the faster Vega and gets enough of one to take the win with a slower et. The Vega might have caught the him but the Camaro has shown some good top end power today and holds him off. Nosub is going to the Finals 1.001et to .972et.
The Finals are set. Nosub #6 against Jordan #9.

Nostalgia Pro Stock Finals. The cars pulled to the line. No hesitation or games here, they just want to get it done. These cars ran .003 apart in the last rounds. They stage and the Chevelle is out first and hard but the #3 qualifier is there for a reason. The Camaro has shown his top end power all day and does it once again running the best et of eliminations. That car woke up for the Finals. Nosub takes the win .936et to 1.002et. Another great Finals race!!

 Race 1 Went as it looked on paper. Nosub takes his time and lets kar2nr go first. The Firebird is strong and drives around the Camaro. Nosub wins .712et to 1.155et.
Race 2 Sjracer gets the jump on the Cobalt and holds .031 right off the start, but falls off his qualifying pace and that allows Jordan to drive around him on the big end Jordan wins .798et to .915et.
Race 4 Kiwidave has to get off the line first and achieves that goal. The Thunderbird just doesn't have enough horsepower to hold off the hard charging Eagle. Eagle wins .752et to .885et.
Race 4 This is another race that ended up going as expected, but you never know what can happen in racing. KS1933 held on to about the 330'. Nosub is ruling the event today and takes another win. Moving on Nosub .805et to 1.071et.

Modern Pro Stock Semi Finals are up!!
Race 6 Nosubs Firebird is just tooooo strong today. They leave together and the Firebird pulls out on the Jordan's Cobalt and keeps it there through the traps. Nosub is going to the Finals one more time. .706et to .828et.
Race 7 OK..........who's going to go up against that beast of a Firebird? Will it be another Nosub team car or Eagle? Eagle looks like he's playing some starting line head games and wants the Camaro to stage first. The Camaro obliges and stages first. Eagle makes him wait the full 7 seconds and pulls in. Looks like it worked because Eagle gets the holeshot, but not by much. He holds the lead over the Camaro to the end and is going to the Finals. Holeshot win .778et to .738et. WM .047.

Another great Final race!! We have seen how strong the Pontiac is all day long. Will it stay that way through the Final? Eagle has been burning up the Christmas tree all day as well and he will need to exercise those skills one more time. He does it again and jumps out in front of Nosub, but the Firebird has already caught him at the 60' mark and pulls out a lead. That never changes as Nosub takes yet another Final win!! VERY IMPRESSIVE VINCE!!
