New HO dragstrip at Raceway Hobbies in Richardson Texas.
Max Trax strip with Track-mate timing system. If anyone has more info, please post.

The dragstrip looks cool, but I'm checking out the hoolia hoop zone next to it.....Drone obstacle course???

I believe so Kevin. They are mostly R/C based so it's really cool to see that they have expanded into HO racing. I saw some drone racing on TV, looks like a blast.

Our local shop in St Louis is Shaffers a very cool shop with one of our local racers in charge of the slot car section (Carl he hosted one of the orignal Proxy races on this site) anyways he stocks all kind of hard to find stuff including every loose chassis from every Manufacture, plus all the old stock American Line bodys, and T Jet parts very cool.
They don't have a Drone obstacle corse but you frequantly need to duck as one goes whizzing by.

I will be checking them out in the near future. How did you hear about them Sam? I do some random searches periodically to find any drag racing activity, but have not had any luck so far. There are some road racing groups around. I will post anything new that I might find out about Raceway Hobbies. Thanks for the info.

The HO Slot Car Track and Drag Strip which was located in Richardson, TX has now been sold to Atomic Hobby Shop in Cypress, TX. I have several slot car tracks besides the HO. We offer 1/24 / 1/32 / 1/64 racing on three tracks. As well as two drag strips 1/24 and 1/64 which are being put in by the end of the month. www.theslotcarspot.comwww.slotcarsofgreaterhouston.com |
