I used Gravity Colors 3 part clear for the first time on these cars. It's a bit pricey compared to the automotive clear that I normally use, but it flows out just as nice.

My Dad used to buy all his cars from Royal Pontiac. I used to love going there to check out their Super Stockers.

Good stuff here!!! I do like those color blends...Nice work with those ProMods... Thanks for the paint link, been watching it... Was good to see that even the Pros get dust in their paint work, makes me feel a little better, lol. Hard to believe him spraying that much clear on, and no runs??? That stuff must dry quick??? Will you keep using it and did you like it, find it easy to use? Thanks, RM

looking good! I ordered some of those paints about 3 weeks ago. I didn't order the clear, just some metallic that I was digging. I can't wait to give them a try.

Great colors man!! The fades are smooth...flames....all of it...great job and thank you for passing on all the information. You said something about needing help with the lexan windows. Sam did a great write up on installing lexan windows. Here is the link nitroslots.com/thread/937/lexan-windows-install

I was surprised how much he used without running too. The amount he used would have taken up one whole bottle of all three components. I like their ready to spray colors, by volume used not nearly as costly. But I may use the clear here and there, just use it up too fast.

Thanks Sam, you should dig their ready to spray colors. I have used a few of them with good results. They also have great customer service. Any issues at all, and Matt will be on it like a red tailed hawk on a squirrel.

I'm mostly having problems with my glue. I was using Gorilla Glue super glue, but the fumes leave a residue all over the Lexan. I will be using the ten minute epoxy Sam uses in his post from this point forward.

It's definitely tricky! I am still having trouble myself. Do you make your own decals?

I make a few of my own decals, don't have the greatest printer in the world, so I use them mostly on the lighter colored cars.

Did a few of Sam's cars this week. I mixed up the paint using Createx Pearls, HOK, and PPG in concert with each other. I find the water based Createx paints work well with the HOK colors. All the flames on these cars are Createx water based, with HOK used as the main body colors.
