Only one day left till raceday.....still a few racers that have yet to arrive. Keeping my fingers crossed that they make it on time. This is an absolutely fantastic field of cars!! Tomorrow will be a busy day for sure.

Great looking group there, look out for the slow orange Chevelle in the middle. Watch out for "Bazooka Dave" too. Thought my entry looked like the sleeper of the bunch. |

The 2017 Winter Nationals begins tomorrow......less than one day now! The anticipation has been building for the last month since the NTRA International. We were still expecting three racers to pull through the gate today, but unfortunately we only got one. Bluesguy and his 2 entries was the lone hauler to arrive. I know that Jim Russell's and Clyde's cars were supposed to be here as per USPS, but we all know how that can go sometimes. I expect to see them both tomorrow. With all the cars that have shown up for this event I cannot afford to postpone the start. But what I can do is move things around to try and get as many of the late cars racing. I will know exactly what I'm going to do when I post the Race Schedule tomorrow morning, but if they show up tomorrow, some of the cars will get to race. If they do not then they will not. We will keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow. Race Central and Bear Creek Dragway are ready to rock and roll!

Glad to hear my hauler made it! Orig. USPS tracking had said Wed. arrival, but I think that the areas affected by Tues. snow/ice/wind storm had an extra day added to their eventual arrival. US Priority Mail is an excellent service for proxy racing. Hope that the other guys cars arrive early enough tomorrow to maybe get to race. Next time I'm getting my hauler out sooner, you never know what kind of weather your package has to go through or get to.

Jeff,not sure what happened post office said Wednesday, Thursday at the very latest. Please don't mess up the race schedule for me, my fault for not getting them on time. Looking forward to the coverage, good luck everyone. Have a great race weekend.
