Today is the last day of the Ultimate Team Challenge. There has been some great racing over the last two days. The Kiwi Challenge 3 should provide more of the same! As has been previously posted, New Zealand won the last challenge and took the Crown home with them. Nitroslots wants to bring it back here. It's been a friendly and highly contested rivalry. The cars look fast and are ready! Format is the best 2 out of 3 races takes the win for the team. Cars are running at 18v.
This weekends voltages:

Kiwi Challenge 3 field of cars as matched left to right. Sandlfy Cuda will race Dave632 Blue Max as Race 10.
Kiwi Challenge 3 first five race results:
Match 1 Kiwidave Bounty Hunter vs Nosubfor3 Monza.
Race 1 The Monza spins at the hit and allows Kiwidave to get out first to the 330' mark. By then Nosub has gathered it up and is able to drive around for the win. Nosub has drawn first blood. Nosub 1.0303et to Kiwidave 1.1043et.
Race 2 Lane switch. Nosub spins at the hit again. Kiwidave picks it up from last run and hangs on for the win light. Nosub was coming though......good thing this is 1000' and not 1320'. This one is going to a third. Just the way we like it! Nosub 1.0820et to Kiwidave 1.0971et.
Race 3 This race was almost identical to the first race. Kiwidave betters his et again, but cannot hold off that top end charge from the Monza. Nosub 1.0380et to Kiwidave 1.0808et. NS takes first win.

Match 2 NZ Ham1200 Silver Bullet vs Ecbill Jungle Jim.
Race 1 Bill wants to keep the momentum flowing for Nitroslots and he is all over the light and holds the lead through 60'. The Silver Bullet is showing some power today and is ahead by 330' and keeps pulling to the end. Ham1200 1.0469et to Ecbill 1.1264et.
Race 2 The Jungle Jim driver is up on the wheel and gets the second holeshot in a row, but the Camaro in the other lane is running hot today and takes this one in two. Ham1200 1.0549et to Ecbill 1.0974et. New Zealand evens it up.

Match 3 NZ Sandfly Racing Cuda vs NS Hilltop Lamb Racing Camaro.
Race 1 Hilltop leaves first but goes into tire shake and has to pedal it. The big tire Cuda drives past and turns on the win light. The Camaro gathered it up but the Mopar was too far ahead. Sandfly 1.1427et to Hilltop 1.1648et.
Race 2 Switch lanes. The Cuda's performance falls way off. No apparent reason for it?? The green Camaro picks up his et a little and passes the Mopar at halftrack. Win for Hilltop 1.1384et to Sandfly 1.2051et.
Race 3 Sandfly gets the holeshot and leads to 660' before the big block Camaro goes by. Hilltop gets the second win 1.1528et to Sandfly 1.1849et.

Match 4 NZ Woodcote Robert Height F/C vs NS Dave632 Jegs Camaro.
Race 1 Woodcote has trouble getting down the track and coasts throught the traps. Car was hesitating. They are working on it all the way back to the start line. Jegs Camaro lays down a solid pass and gets race 1. Dave632 1.0371et to Woodcote 1.7618et.
Race 2 Switch lanes. Dave632 slows down and the Robert Height car speeds up, but it's still not near enough to capture the win. Dave's Jegs Camaro takes this match in two. Dave632 1.1398et to 1.5290et.

Match 5 NZ Mustang Paul Trojan Horse Mustang vs NS Hairy Canary Goodies Trans Am.
Race 1 The N.Z. Mustang has got the HP today and takes this one wire to wire. The Pontiac seems a little sluggish in the humid air. Mustang Paul 1.0744et to Hairy Canary 1.2953et.
Race 2 Switch lanes. Hairy Canary's crew is frantically trying to find the issue! They're ready......it looks like they found something and they did. The Trans Am picks up it's et a bunch. That didn't hold the Ford down though. Paul gets the holeshot and pulls through 660' before the TA starts coming back. Just not enough real estate.....Mustang Paul gets the match win in two 1.0673et to Hairy Canary 1.1393et.

Here are the last four Match Races and there is only one win separating the two Teams. I already know the outcome and true to Kiwi Challenge form.....it was a nail biter!! So let's get on with it and see who gets the crown.
Match 6 NZ MPR Freightliner F/C vs NS JJWallace Twisted Texan Pinto.
Race 1 JJ is hoping for a little redemption after MPR took it to him on home track at the last Challenge. That Freightliner car was the cream of the crop during that meet and set the stock 4 gear track record here at Bear Creek which stood at .9860et........till today! The Freightliner car is low...mean...and menacing as it pulls in to stage. The Pinto pulls in right behind him......he's ready. Lights drop MPR is out first through 60' then the Twisted Texan takes over and runs track record time for the first win. MPR clocks a solid pass in the loss. JJ .9597et to MPR 1.0810et.
Race 2 Switch lanes. The Freightliner car is a little off his prior performance but as we have already seen, these cars can wake up at any time. You can bet they will try to put some more in the car for the next run. Cars stage again and this time the Pinto gets it wire to wire and lowers the track record again. MPR put in two solid passes today! JJ .9256et to MPR 1.0946et.NZ 2 NS 4

There is some concern on the New Zealend Team. They are running out of opportunities for wins. But they have been here before and know what needs to be done. Nitroslots doesn't look to be backing down.
Match 7 NZ Impala Po Patron F/C vs NS Eagle Racing Camaro.
Race 1 The ER Camaro has been here many times and always is a top runner in the class. The Patron car needs to be on it and is as it leaves first and continues to pull away through the traps. Eagle makes a solid A to B pass in the loss. Impala Po 1.0051et to Eagle 1.0704et.
Race 2 Switch lanes. This was a great race!! Eagles Team turned it up. They leave wired together and swap the lead several times till just past 660' where the Patron car pulls away for an important win. Impala Po 1.0062et to Eagle 1.0469et. This puts NZ within one.

Match 8 NZ Moonshine damn Yankee vs NS Nosubfor3 Die Hard F/C.
Race 1 The excitement is building. Everybody knows whats at stake here. New Zealand needs to win out to win this, but at the very least needs to win this to even have a chance. Wait a minute....hasn't this scenario played out before?? This a big tire Cuda if I ever saw one and we know the capabilities of Nosub and his cars. Cars leave and this one is very one sided. The Cuda was down on power and gave up the lead at the 330' marker. Die Hard F/C passes the Mopar and gets the win. They are frantically under the body of the Cuda. Nosub 1.0755et to Moonshine 1.3210et.
Race 2 Switch lanes. Oh man....the NZ crew looks like they found the problem. and are ready. How can they be so confident after that last loss? Cars stage and are gone on a quick tree. Nosub's et falls off slightly but the Mopar picks it way up and blisters the track and gets race 2 win. Moonshine .9683et to Nosub 1.0993et.
Race 3 Switch lanes. The drama builds even more........ Nosub wants this bad! He's in first and when the lights drop, he's out first. Moonshine's crew definitely found they're problem and lays down the fourth fastest time of the day! Nosub betters his et in the loss. Moonshine .9768et to Nosub 1.0457et. New Zealand ties it up with that win!

They are going absolutely bonkers in the New Zealand pit and start line. It all comes down to one final race as it has with every single one of these Challenges!! It is amazing really how that happens! But it does and here we are again. Sandfly Racing is not only doing double duty today, but he has all of New Zealand riding on his shoulders. He is the other big tire Cuda. Did they share some info?? We will find out. Let's not forget about the other side of this equation.......Dave632 and the Blue Max. Dave is a premier builder and is ready for the task at hand.Match 8 NZ Sandfly Racing Cuda vs NS Dave632 Blue Max.Race 1 Looks like Team NZ shared some info. as the Cuda lowers it's number significantly and takes it wire to wire. Dave's Blue Max was right there if the Mopar hiccuped at all. Sandfly 1.0535et to Dave632 1.0886et.Race 2 Switch lanes. Both cars step it up in this race. Blue Max gives it all he's got but loses to the Mopar today. Sandfly gets some redemption for the loss earlier in the day. Sandfly 1.0040et to Dave632 1.0470et.With that....NZ takes the overall Kiwi Challenge win!!! NZ 5 NS 4
