Thanks guys! Yup, the vids are cool & fun to do but as you both know, take some time to process. So, with that being said,I'll be posting just data & pix during the proxy race in February. That will no doubt be plenty for this ol' codger to keep straight . Heck, I still fantasize about live streaming for a future event . A few minor things to tweek on the track but it's basically ready to go. It's performing well and I'm really happy with it. Eventually I want to detail it out with more scenery, as others have done, but that kinda stuff will come later . Really looking forward to the upcoming proxy event and have my hopes up that the track will perform well for everyone.

Easy fix on the left lane. When I'd been tucking wires a few days ago, I had disconnected the wiring to the 660 sensor mistakenly and it wound up fouling the speed trap and finish sensors also. All is as it should be now.

Glad to hear that the fix was not to tough.

I got the misc stickers back from the printer today and had them print a backdrop photo for the track at the same time. I'm thrilled with it! I just got it taped up right now but will be mounting it to a solid substrate and that will eliminate that shiny spot in the middle. Been wanting to do this for a while and glad I finally did .

That looks good where did you get that printed? Best I could find for a background was one 18" high.

That looks good where did you get that printed? Best I could find for a background was one 18" high. Thanks Dave. I had the sign shop where I used to work before retiring, print it. I took the file to them ready to go. I had googled 'scenery pictures of Washington state' and found 3 I liked. Decided on this one of Mt. Ranier as I enjoy seeing it every time we go to the west side to see family. I cropped it, etc, to suit the area & size desired. The print is only 16" tall x 50" wide. Most sign shops these days, have a large format printer, which would be capable of printing what ever one would want. Most large format printers use a 54"x50 yard roll. I'm pretty sure a shop in your area would have one. Thanks again, Gale

What a great picture! It's perfect for your track! I was fortunate to see Mt Ranier while on a fire detail in the northwest with the Smokey Bear Hot Shot crew. I was on the fire crew for 5 seasons and it took me to a lot of beautiful places. My favorite was the Cascades in Washington State. An absolutely enchanted area of the world. On that trip we started in northern California and ended up about 6 miles from the Canadian border in the Pasayten Wilderness.

Got paint on a couple body's today. Hopin' they turn out okay for the upcoming race.
Used to have an ol' Chevy PU like this one when I was in my mid twenties. It was my daily driver to work and all. Then on the weekends, Jen and I would go explore up in the mountains. It would go anywhere. Great truck .

Know what you mean about the airbrush blues. I have a new one that I don't quite have figgered out yet. Maybe some of the old pros would pass along some expertise.
