Well as I was saying a few weeks ago, warm weather sunshine balmy days, yea right. it's been as cold as a witches t-t, heavy rain very cold southerlies, but you guys don't care, any way racing tonight at Waverly Park, have no idea whose done what, cam mother is still away looking after in-laws in Stralia, so till tomorrow.

Yes it was raining, not quite so cold, heaters were on.  So who is this guy, not pony boy but that fellow, seems we may have another interested petrol head to race slots. A big welcome to Alf. Qualifying came and went, did some cool times as well.  Nostalgia cars at the line, ready set go..., dont know who won.  Just in case you were wondering, waverly matt had these as prizes for whoever made the end of the track, As im not that fast i didnt get one. To the racing we go. Ofr went to jungle jim with a red light and the model A as always. 4ths no one 3rds- scribble in nostalgia, catch me in funny car, 52 chev in truck and willies in t/jet 2nds- f100 in truck, mac's tools in top fuel  just some ole cars doing their stuff.  To the chicken dinners we go, Ghost in pro-mod and willies in vintage gas. Next week we are back on home turf, so till then. |

Yes its that time again, racing tonight at sandfly alley, did some track prep during the week, reset the rail heights, took some go-pro footage will see what that looks like, will vid the racing tonight as well, ill need to learn how to post vids so it may be a while before you see anything, till tomorrow.

Well what a night, the weather gods were on our side, no rain, no wind just a pleasant evening. The work on the track proved spot on, the cars now run smooth the whole way down. Qualified all the cars before the six racers arrived.  As can be seen, the go pro was in position, i just let this run until the battery went flat took about 2.5 hours, so thats a lot of vid to review. To the racing im still having problems keeping the scribble behind the junglr jim car and the ole 52 behind the f100 as these are cars that need points. Can you spot the entry drinks.  Must thank Wendy for the sausage rolls went down a treat. ok here we go, ofr went the model A in tin top again. 4ths went to catch me in funny car and willies in t/jet. 3rds went to jungle jim (red light) in nostalgia and the ghost in pro mod. 2nds nuthing  As you can see chicken dinners for a few drivers, f100 in truck, willies in vintage gas and mac's tools in top fuel, go get some of that. next week we are back at moonshine panel and paint, see you there. |
