Right no racing tonight as a few of the lads are away, never mind we will be holding a test and tune night, there may even be pix's to look at.

Ok so not much happened last night,  These three delinquents turned up, camp mother made sure his cars are slow, painter guy Alan did some testing, the ice man Po just came with drinks.  CA bedford collection is growing, some of these are 1970,s.  Other vans collected, there is a theme going on here,  Some old english and euro cars. The lads stayed till nearly 10pm, painter guy and i played darts, 4/3 to me, got him good. Next week we should be back at mustang alley, till then.... |

Its race night at the mustang alley, pony boy paul has been hard at it prepping his cars, the sand fly crew have been laid back enjoying the wind and rain, see you tomorrow.

Well there you have it another race night in the books.  Qualifying was hectic as poor ole pony boy was still doing his cars when racers arrived, that was 7 drivers and one visitor, hot rod guy and he loved it. The sandfly cars somewhere near the top so was happy with that.  Waverly matts pit box, where all the secrets are kept. To the racing, now let it be said that the danger of running two cars in a class is asking for trouble and you guessed it, did qualifying and the two nostalgia cars were on track, the two trucks were even playing ball, or would they??? It turned out that jungle jim and the scribble would race for 3rd and 4th, lucky i had the visitor race the scribble and jim took the points for 3rd and scribble got 4th. Now fot the kicker in truck racing the 52 chev that had sat in the cupboard decided again after being slower than the f100 in qualifying to go faster in the racing so we ended up with the f100 getting 3rd and the 52 2nd, i think the 52 has done enough damage to the f100's lead, so its back to the cupboard for him. Other 4ths went to willies in t/jet and the model A in tin top. Other 3rds went to the ghost, who is still well of the pace.  So did we go home hungry, no the Mac's tools top fueler did it again, winner, winner, chicken dinner.  Who can spot the problem here, this is before racing began? Next week we are back at waverly race course, see you there. |
