Welcome Neighbor! Where about are you in SW Iowa? I am in East Central Illinois, Champaign-Urbana to be a little more exact. Just a sweet little road trip away! I live in Lorimor, about a hour from the Missouri border and a hour southwest of Des Moines. Glad to see you are planning some racing with us Jesse. I started about 4 years ago and became addicted. Ask if you need any help with making these cars run better. Thanks Dave, you're already helping me out, all of you. There's a lot of good info on the site to learn from. I just need to stop buying cars and get some tools, like a pancake pinion puller to start, and upgrades for the cars I do have. I bought a T Jet off Dave on eBay today, so I should have a Gasser and Street Jet for the next race at Gnome's! Thanks again eveyone! |

Jesse I feel obligated to tell you that there is no cure for this addiction that Dave632 speaks of. I've been a slot car drag racing addict for 7 years now. I think there is a 1320 step program out there somewhere.    |

How's everybody doing? Thanks for letting me in the door. My name is Sam aka Skillet. Got the name Skillet from my dad when I was a kid... Been into slot cars around 4 years now. A hard 4 years into it lol. I have done something slot car related every day since I found them. Long story short. I'm in process of setting up tomy/ autoworld dragstrip. I was going for the 20'7" until my friend Alpink had me stop over. I've changed my mind and will follow suit over here. Actually works better to give some length to my shut down area. Hope to learn and share some things. Sam/Skillet Nothing special just some junk wood and what ever I had.   |

I think you will get along well with everyone here.
and we can help you through some of your builds and you can probably teach us some things as well.
