Hello everyone, Steve here from Wichita Ks. I retired last year from Spirit Aerosystems as Director of operations. Been out of slot car racing for almost 30 years and just getting back into it. I just installed a Viper drag track and Track Mate timing system in my basement and been playing around with for a couple of months now, it's setup for scale 1/4 at 20.650' with 7' of shutdown. I will be reaching out to you guys for help, pointers and even to build me a couple of fast 4 gears cars which I like, but know nothing about. Thanks for letting me join your awesome Forum, Steve. |

Nice to see you have a track already with a TrackMate system.

great group here and you will, gladly, get all the help you desire.
you already have a good set up and next you will be entering races and them hosting.
we like pictures. when you have time, please share what your track and "cave" look like.

Welcome to the world of drag racing Steve. That is a terrific looking track that you have there.
The guys on here will give you all the help you need. Look forward to you taking part in the races, you will soon get hooked on proxy racing.

Coming back after many years off the strip. Actually I was a member of Psychoslots which was later changed to NitroSlots. Ran out of Dallas TX for a few years with HO . Anyway JJ and Sam was kind enough to hook me up again. Will have a lot to learn to much has changed over the years.
Will be relocating to New Jersey soon and will hopefully have space for my MAX TRACK 1/4 mile strip.

Hi fellas, I doubt many of you remember me since it's been 3 years since I've been on here. So, my name is Jesse and I've got the bug to start drag racing again. Not sure what happened years ago to make me abruptly dissappear but, I apologize and hope to join some races soon.
