I haven't even started tuning any of my cars. Just some baseline runs have been made. Tuning and track prep will be the focus this next week. Race is coming quick! I am satisfied with my cars for the regular event but my PSO and Outlaw cars are not 100%. PSO is pretty close now. Changed the first thing on the PSO chassis in 2 years beside brushes, put 2 new traction magnets on it, next 2 new tires.

Gonna send the 4gear the way you sent it. The inlines I will break-in for a short time. My PSO is an old dinosaur I dug out of the bottom of a box. Gonna clean it up, new rear rims and tires. Gonna run it without braids or shunts. gotta find some traction mags for it. With all this nice weather we are having, I've been out side working on the house and trying to get the garage roof redone. Gotta get down in the dungeon in the next few days and do some cleaning and move some stuff around. Getting new furnace and C/A Wednesday. Somebody once told me that as you get older, life slows down. THEY LIED!!!!

Been a day for weird problems at test and tune. MT brush springs slipping up under the electrical connector. It made a noise like when it needs oil. Opened it up, brushes were bottomed out and couldn't find the springs. This was a new one on me. It looks like the Wizzard brushes were too thick, compressing the springs enough that the they slid out of their pockets. Putting stock MT brushed cured it. Next, a 4 gear, spit out the second idler gear. Never saw that before either. Amazingly, I found it. Figuring it was a fluke, I put it back in and it did it again. Changed the gear, now it seems to work ok. Dropped a crown gear on the floor. While looking for it knocked a parts box off the table. Hundred of microscopic parts on the floor. Mostly MT brushes and springs. I love my hobby.

ECBill, sounds like you are having one of those days. I have spent some time on the floor looking for parts that blend in nicely with the color of my wood floor. More fun is when one of the little monsters throws a tire off going 30-60 mph and trying to guess how far and where the high rpm tire went. I have also had the AW motor brush spring go between the chassis and the support quite a few times.

Speaking of shipping, what do you prefer? FedEx, UPS, or USPS?
