This was Round 1 of Four Gear Outlaw for the #1 spot at the 2018 Winter Nationals. I filmed this and a few others, but did not ever get them edited. I will be posting a couple more over the next week to practice. Click on the pic.
 Very nice Jeff. Sound effects really liven it up. The next race at my track was even closer than that, both runs were side by side with your car taking the final win with a .59 over a .60 both best runs by the cars. The next one I post will be the Round 2 which was even closer. I don't remember the times, but both cars slowed down in Round 2 and the race was super close. I need to sit down and do 4 or 5 videos in a row and write everything down. FYI....... the Video editor that I told you about earlier can all be obtained online. I downloaded it right off the NCH website. Thanks for the good word. |

I am glad that the cars arrived in good time. I checked their progress Tuesday and they were in Chicago so they have done well.
Your videos are getting better all the time, keep up the good work Jeff. Good luck to all entries.

2018 NTRA Texas Nationals14 Days till Raceday. Roughly 1 week of tuning left till shipping day!
Potentially 1 maybe 2 open spots on each of the Outlaw Lists. Only one racer is sending a car for one List....that I know of. Just putting together a car to List specs could put you at #10 or possibly #9. We won't know who is going to show up until Raceday. Sooooo get some cars built and try it out!
Last pre race videos to stir some excitement for the upcoming race. I've been using these as practice and I think I've got a handle on editing now....at least what I want to do. These two videos were Pro Street Outlaw Round 2 for the #1 and #2 Spots. They were run at the 2018 Winter Nationals. A couple of great races. Nosub's Blue Streak Corvette set the track record on that defense of the #1 Spot! The race for #2 was a great race with a separation at the traps of .0037! More of that to come at the Texas Nationals!

Like those sound effects and the close racing. Both of my list cars are a little off. Don't know why, the Rebel initially blasted out a .55 @ 25 mph but it has slowed to .59 @ 22 and I can't figure out why. Took it apart for a cleaning and it has not been the same since. Still have a couple of days to figure it out.

Got the PSO 57 Chevy running 25 mph again which shows power is back, ET still a little off, could need a new set of tires?? Tried some Wintergreen on the tires which was no help.

I haven't even started tuning any of my cars. Just some baseline runs have been made. Tuning and track prep will be the focus this next week. Race is coming quick!

Dave, oil of wintergreen will only affect rubber tires and maybe foam. it has no effect on slilcone other than act a a cleaning agent.
