23 entries in 4G super comp, that's a big class. My 4Gs are running so so but my Inline stocks should be contenders. Entered a Ford and a Chevy just to show I don't take sides. This is the first 57 Ford I have ever seen in HO drag racing.  57 Ford and 55 Chevy |

Jeff, I don't know how luxurious you want to get but with Audacity software you can speed up or slow down the tempo of your dragster audio without changing the pitch. Audacity is free and really easy to use. I use it all the time to convert rehearsal recordings in *.wav to *.mp3 so I can post to FB and send in emails for the other band mates.
Something extra to think about with all your spare time, eh? LOL

Something extra to think about with all your spare time, eh? LOL Thanks Gale. The Video Pad software also allows me to work with the audio files as well. I am still learning how to use it. Sadly I did not know how to strip an audio file from a youtube video, but I've learned how to do that. So I have some really good "at the traps" sound effects now. I will look into Audacity though as well. |

All cars need to be received by Thursday September 27. Qualifying starts Friday morning followed by Class Eliminations. If anyone does not have the race address, let me know.

Here is another "teaser" for all you racers out there. I will probably post a few more of these videos before the race to get some more practice and to get everybody stirred up for the race  . I still have the videos from the 2018 Winter Nationals List races that never got posted. I will work with them and we will see how things went the last time the List cars were at Bear Creek Dragway and I will get some practice at the same time. I have made some decent audio files to choose from for the videos now, so I hope to add sound to the them. No text or anything on this one, but it still turned out pretty cool. I was trying to play around with the audio. I don't know that I will be doing any starting line videos, but I wanted to see what it looked like. Just click the picture.

Umm..Jeff..check your dates. The 27th IS Thursday, so they'd need to be there by Wednesday the 26th I would think.  Unless you start qualifying on Friday morning.. I'll let you correct that buddy. Also..message me, got a question for ya. |
