OK, with this race coming up in about a month .....
...... how would folks feel about sending me the cars to race with same rules on my 1/8 mile?
sort of like the the follow up race i did with KiwiDave.

Sounds good to me, Gnome is holding his race in early November. Should schedule it before that. Some cars had problems and might need repairs.

All this makes me wonder how in the world we ever got Tjets to go around the track back in the day, when all we had were skinny stock tires and no traction magnets.
I remember they used to fishtail in the corners quite a bit. Kinda like a dirt track car,

All this makes me wonder how in the world we ever got Tjets to go around the track back in the day, when all we had were skinny stock tires and no traction magnets. I remember they used to fishtail in the corners quite a bit. Kinda like a dirt track car, Soaked those skinnies in wintergreen oil. Softened them up quite nicely!!! |

to confirm ..... this will be the two t-jet classes that gnome will be running November 3.

Sorry I misunderstood, thought you meant the cars from Jeff's race. I have a couple prepared for Gnomes race already, just need 2 more. We could send them to your track first
Al if you are using the same rules. Make it a 1-2 series. Need to schedule it soon in order to get them to both races in time.

my idea was to have my race after Gnome's to allow everyone the time they thought they had to build and test.
and there need not be a specific date for my race with these cars until after Gnome's race.
point series can happen
so, like Kiwi's race, cars can be sent direct to me from Gnome.
let us focus on Gnome's race for now and get everyone signed up.

Yes Al, I think we should focus on Gnomes race first. Personally I would be happy if we scheduled another race at your track.
There is probably enough time to hold another event before the end of the year and still make it a points series.

Please put me down for one of each. All these years racing these cars this will be my first Tjet build. A very challenging one at that. Looking forward to that challenge, it should be a very wild and fun race.

Found 2 t jet chassis cars I had built for something that fit the gasser rules just fine. With the traction magnets they make the unlimiteds look sick even though they only
have 14 ohm armatures.
