Dave632 cars arrived today! I was excited to see another package and thought it was more racers, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a surprise from my wife, more slot cars to add to the collection! Dave632 Street Jets all set up in the pits.
Dave's Gasser's! Welcome to Motor City Raceway! New Billboard went up today,
Pit stalls are starting to fill up a bit, getting closer to race day!

Here comes the Judge, here comes the Judge. What could be more appropriate for cruising Woodward Ave than a GTO Judge powered by a Ram Air 455, with a Muncie 4 speed. Along with the Judge is the Blue Fire GTO convertible. For the Gasser class the SC crew is sending a Studebaker and Willys Panel Van I Looking forward to some racing action.

I am thinking quite a few of the street Jet runs will be decided by de slots. We will see. I was able to get them down my track most of the time usually with excessive wheel spin.

Ya i think you might be right, i found with my two if run by them self make a clean run but when run next to each other i will get a deslot some times. I enjoy playing with the gravity style cars they have proven to be quite a challenge. Keep your eyes on sandflys van ,i don't have any idea on the power level but it looks as if it is going to hook and book ,its made me rethink my setup, will probably make a new car for the second annual. I was also thinking of running the street jets at 14 volts after the planned event is run , what's everyone's thoughts on that

Gnome.
The haulers are made by Maisto. Found some at Hobby Lobby and others at Walgreens of all places. They're called AllStars Elite Transporters. Each came with a diecast car.
The Blue Studebacker is tied down in an AW jewel case since its paint was still tacky. Didn't want you to have to peel it free from bubble wrap. When it gets to you just snip the wire twisty.

I have a collection of these they are getting hard to come by, so far up to 20 of them, all different.

It is definitely a challenge to get them down the track and there will be a certain amount of luck racing cars like this as they will not do the same thing twice. Mine mixed great runs in with horrible ones. Just cleaning the tires was worth .02 ET at times.
