Thought I'd try starting a "Hauler" thread . Hopefully others will post there collections here.
When ecbill sent his cars for the WA NATS proxy race, he also sent me a new hauler ! Pretty dang nice gesture! So I quickly retired the HHR wagon and hooked up that trailer to the Hauler that Bill sent. That hauler's gonna drop off the HHR to the body shop and get it converted to a Panel Van. If it turns out, I'll be dipping into the art of resin casting for the first time. Here's a pic of the haulers that hang out at my track.
Let's see them Haulers, fellas!

Voltage Valley haulers. Dave a impressive display of haulers and other cars too. And The Haulers at SandFly Alley. The Nomad pulling The Little Red Wagon is old school. Put some slicks on top of the Wagon and a tool box in the back and that's the way it was. I also see you got the Chicken Dinner😄 Rick

This was my first hauler and my first resin body I ever casted. Sold them on ebay. wish I still had them. IMG_2413 by rick williamson, on Flickr Then the two Hot Wheel Haulers was my first haulers I cast. sold them with the body's on ebay too. wish i still had them too. I thought I would build new ones for myself but never did. I'm redoing the haulers and plan on re casting them in the future ? I have a lot of haulers and car body's that I want to build and cast but my time has been limited do to work. Some others I have on the drawing board. Maybe someday ? IMG_0219 by rick williamson, on Flickr IMG_2298 by rick williamson, on Flickr IMG_2273 by rick williamson, on Flickr This one is the one Hot Wheels came out with a few years back that I want to cast. Its a little smaller than the one I did. IMG_1943 by rick williamson, on Flickr This one is one of the newest Haulers Hot wheels just came out with. Mongoose and Snake. I just re lettered the door. The yellow was close enough for the trip to Washington. They have a few other different ones they just came out with too. Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr I will post when I find some more pictures. Rick

All the posts showing haulers pot me to thinking about the forgotten ones in the attic. Here are pics of some of them. The NASCAR haulers would look nice if converted for drag racing. Alway open to some wheeling and dealing if anybody would like to trade for some of your duplicate or whatever else is of interest.

Here's a resin hauler I got off a Model Truck site that I thought was pretty cool. I collect trucks too. I'm a truck driver. You need to buy a truck for it and you can use the running gear from the truck. IMG_2537 by rick williamson, on Flickr IMG_2534 by rick williamson, on Flickr

Have any of you ever made ebay purchases direct from vendors in China? Saw an auction for the Snake and Mongoose haulers with cars for $7.99 with free shipping. Seller was in China so I let it pass.
Don't know it its true but have heard that purchases from China end up with some sort of import fees, VATs, surcharges etc. Curious what the truth is.

bill, I have bought from asian sellers including china. never has there been a tariff. some stuff takes a very long time to clear customs here AND there. sometimes the item appears before US stuff paid for on same day. no rhyme or reason.
of course, other may have had different experiences. I would think that items in the thousands of dollars might be taxed!
