SC cars are on the way to Tennessee. No photo op this time. Included a second Super Comp car. Please add it to the list Dave.
They should get there in plenty of time. The Post Office did put a scare into me last time. 2 day Priority Mail took 5 days.
Looking forward to the racing!

Hope nobody sent a package with a signature required. Postman puts a card in the mail box which I sign then it goes back to the PO waits for the card to return then supposedly is shipped again. Will add at least a week or more to shipping.
I will add a SC to your cars Bill.

I was trying to get my PSO car running and was really struggling with it when as the 60' times were way off. I was looking at some old 60' times when I realized there was a big difference in the 60' times which would account for the .05 I was losing in ET. I realized I had changed the timing system from reading when the beam passes the back of the car to when it breaks the first beam. The new system is much more realistic as the length of the car makes no difference in 60' times. Speed had remained fairly consistent so power was pretty similar. So your cars will read about .05 slower in ET here than they did in the past due to the timing system change.

There is no such thing as 2 day or Next Day....lol. I have seen it many times on cars coming here.

Did not make sense to me for the rear of the car to start the clock. I have two start line sensors. The first one stages the car and the clock starts when the car breaks the second beam.

Yes I did not realize I had mine set up wrong, now it is working the way full size tracks work and it makes a lot more sense. The first beam stages the car just like yours does Jeff.

The Slot Dragon system is like that. Car is staged by breaking the beam. Clock doesn't start till the entire car passes over the sensor and it makes behind the car. You can stage with the back of the car if you wanted to. Having it set up like that is like getting a running start. I guess times between our tracks will tighten up a little now?? Rick just ask me that same question because he was seeing something similar. As a driver and a track that utilizes drivers, it is much easier to red light with the sensors set up like I have them. But forunately the Trackmate system you and I are using allows for adjustment of the Pro Tree. Instead of .4 between yellow and green, I can adjust for .1 or .2 which virtually eliminates red lights. If you red light on a .1 tree then you left before the tree was activated. I really like that feature because in 1/1 racing you leave on yellow. That can be done the same here. No need to time the reaction. Just go on yellow!

I did the same thing with my Pro tree timing. I set it at .1 so there would be no red lights unless you guessed when I held my bracket race in the past. There were some legitimate red lights at .2 as the cars react so fast there is almost no delay between the time you hit the button and the time the car breaks the beam.

When I was pro tree 1/1 racing I would shallow stage when qualifying which would give me a slightly better ET. There is 7" between the beams on a 1/1 track and you have a few inches to play with. During eliminations I would deep stage as much as possible without turning off the pre stage. This would give me a slight reaction time advantage. I rarely was beaten on the tree but I sure lost some races for other reasons. The car was bad for wanting to go right when I tried to put some power to it. I never made a clean pass without having to let up at least once when I ran the N20.
