Please in my next event and any other event put your car information or any special instructions including extra insurance on a note included with the cars. Trying to go back and look to see where the cars are supposed to run or any other instructions can be a tough task. It takes about 4 full days of work to run one of these events so any help is appreciated. Once again thanks to all who attended the race and I hope you enjoyed it. Lots o different winners this time which was a nice thing to see.
Thanks Dave

Would like to mention one new track record set 5/12/2019
2.5 Modified - MPH - GTS - 42.35 36 Ford Eagle chassis
This eclipsed the old record held by KiwiDave which was 37.88.
Congrats well done.

I receive PM's with info and sometimes racers post it on the open forum and other times they have a card in the box with the cars. I inventory every box as I open them and all of its contents, cars, numbers, money, how they paid, give aways, etc. Everything gets inventoried. When someone posts that info on the forum or in a PM, I write it down right then so I don't forget or have to go back later. It is a little extra time to do that, but the payoff is when boxing everything back up.....makes everything go much much smoother. My worst fear is to send someone's stuff to the wrong place. That has never happened. I am one that normally puts a card with the cars and instructions in the box, but this time I forgot. By the time I remembered, everything was sealed up. So I sent you a PM with that info....my apologies.

Thanks guys for the good word on the truck! It is very much appreciated! I did that custom a few years ago, but it has never raced at an event. It is heavy, so I will be doing some lightening when it gets home. FYI.......that is yet another awesome Hairy Canary creation!! Thank you Rick!

I will add that to my future events. I did some of that this time inventorying all the cars as I opened the boxes and how payment was received., but I did not catch all of the posts about which cars ran where etc.

yes, it is difficult enough for race masters to pull of such events to begin with. simple things like return address and any directions on how to prep cars should all be spelled out in simple block lettering or printed out from a computer. the return addy especially ! I have gotten packages that the return addy was obliterated on the outside.

You know........nothing ever needs to be mailed if things are unclear. The questions can always be asked if someone doesn't include the information. I've had to ask questions in the past before mailing some cars back. I think everybody does a really good job with providing information. As a Racemaster, once I put my address out to all the entrants, I start looking for info. More and more people just post their info in a PM and I have no problem with that....the way I do things. There is really only about a two week period and a few entries that I ever need to keep up with. I don't think this is a big problem. I have run over 10 proxy races here on the forum and have not ever had any issues. But I have to be very methodical in keeping up with everything.
