Thanks everyone for the kudos! Certainly feels sometimes like I'm just spinnin' my wheels  so I really do appreciate the good words  .
The qualifying of the Nostalgia Pro Stock is complete. Following are a few pics of the qualifiers as they faced off against each other during qualifications.

Nice group of fast cars for this part of the event. Your track is fast and you must be prepping the cars well.
The Green/white 55 Chevy's best time on my track was .605 which it eclipsed on your track. MPH was only .2 slower when compared to
the best speed of all the runs made here.
That best time was made after about 50 passes, while trying different things vs only 2 passes on your track.
Looking forward to eliminations nice going Gale, good job.

The results of the first round of eliminations:
I put dave632 in the wrong lane, honest mistake. Once I realized it, I didn't think the outcome was gonna be that much different so I let it ride. Hope no one minds  .
This was a really close race from where I was sitting. Couldn't tell who won till I looked at the screen. The Red & Black Vette squeezed it out.
Both of nosubfor3's cars are running strong. He takes this one start to finish.
A couple of lean & mean green machines! The Green Shelby Mustang took command.
The Red & White 55 Chevy has an easy go at this one. The 71 Charger is headed for the PSO .Shark Pool.
This was another close one. The Nomad is first out of the hole and the White Vette just couldn't catch him.
The Orange Javelin just wasn't having a good day and hands it to the Black Shelby Mustang of Jeff's.
Ecbill's Black Vette steps up to the plate and easily takes this one from Randy's beautiful Camaro.
Next round of eliminations comin' up!

Excellent Qualifying and Round 1 pictures! Lovin' all the details Gale! Once again...a great group of cars. Looks like the Dave show again, but anything can happen in racing. Congratulations Dave on TQ and two fast cars! My cars are running better than I expected. Anxious for Round 2.

Second round of eliminations for Nostalgia Pro Stock:
Nosub's Vette hesitates at the line just a bit but Dave's 55 Chevy wasn't leaving anything for chance.
The Green Shelby Mustang slows for an instant at the 330' mark and the Taz Man takes it to the finish line.
The Red & White 55 Chevy takes it from start to finsh.
The Black Vette pulled a spectacular time but not quite up to par with what Jeff pulled.
Whoa, Jeff is up to it again. He pulled this same thing in February. Better watch out Dave.

Pretty exciting semi's & finals, wow  .
The Taz Man turns in his best time of the day but still wasn't good enough to beat the Green & White 55 Chevy to the finish line. This one definitely had me on the edge of my seat.
I don't have a clue what happened to the R&W 55 but it definitely choked, my jaw literally hit the floor. The Black Mustang is in the finals!
The Finals will be posted shortly. Can Jeff do it? Or will Dave put him in his place? Stay tuned!

Woo Hoo!! Waaaay better than I thought I would do. I don't think I have enough for that '55 Bracket car Dave has....but I'm in the Finals. Pretty dang happy with that. Good luck Dave! Great job Gale!! Keep up the great work. Great group of cars guys....fairly consistent field of cars. Looking forward to more racing.

Boy oh boy what a bunch of close racing, eh?
Here they are at the starting line, both itchin' to go. Both take off flawlessly. It looks even all the way down . . . . . who's gonna win it? I'm not tellin', you'll have to look at the bracket chart below  .
Congratulations Dave on your Nostalgia Pro Stock WIN !!! Congratulations to the finalists, semi-finalists and all the racers! Great fun guys !

Jeff congratulations on making the final, great race would have liked to seen that one live. The 55 actually beat the best time it had here 3 times. It also beat the Outlaw street 57 Vette with the old rebel chassis most of the time when I matched them up here. Jeff's Mustang picked up nicely throughout eliminations. Nice work again GTS and thanks for running the show. I know it is fun running the cars but there is a lot of work behind the scenes.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow.
My 4 gears were not on par with my gasser and PS cars. So unless Christine puts a hex on them for the good, which is something she will never do, more likely to light them on fire, they will not fare to well.
